Our whole family went to this event and we couldn't be happier!!! The artists were outstanding! Maurice Hines was the perfect Master of Ceremonies...Savion - Unbelievable! And the musicians and singers...it was just INCREDIBLE! I would recommend this to everyone! I promise you will not be disappointed...We will be back!
GREAT Show, good Jazz and a lot of variety. I really recommend it! I could not see the stage well from my seat and I moved. Try to get something closer to the center of the stage.
Wycliffe Gordon's Jazz a la carte was a great variety of arts and culture.
The addition of savion glover put it over the top. Love the appolo.
Just the right mix of high end talent and newcomers. A joyful, inspired event. I'd go again, in a NY minute!

The entire event was exciting , entertaining and inspiring, Suitable for all ages, wonderfully produced and chock full of talent! Savion was pure joy, Wycliffe a treasure I just discovered and what can you, I or anyone else say about Mr Hines , but fabulous, classic and classy! Save and restore the Apollo!
My sister and I took my mother to this show for her 75th birthday and WOW - it was fantastic. Great for all ages. What a variety and every performer was entertaining. Loved Maurice Hines stories; Savion Glover tapped the heck out of the joint, the young bloods were quite talented and of course Wycliff brought down the house. The price was so reasonable and it was better than a Broadway show. You got to catch a show at the Apollo!!!!!
