Performance Art
WOW has been dazzling audiences with a spectacular show since opening at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in 2017. WOW features more than 30 international performing artists, acrobats and dancers who twirl, flip, dive and dance. In addition to its 1,000-square-foot liquid centerpiece, the 180-degree circular spectacular captivates audiences with three-dimensional multimedia projections, graceful choreography, picturesque water walls, and hypnotic holograms. The show's watery delights are tied together by the story of a fisherman whose mermaid catch leads him on an amazing journey; his odyssey takes him from quaint city streets to the canals of Venice. Returning to the ocean, he confronts pirates, encounters the doomed Titanic, and explores the lost city of Atlantis. Lifelike marine life greets him underwater, where holograms flicker magically on watery walls. The brainchild of director Hanoch Rosenn, WOW has won four prestigious Best of Las Vegas awards and to date has been seen by more than 2.5 million people.
To connect with WOW - The Vegas Spectacular:
Had music, dance, gymnastics, juggling, comedy, and even archery and it was all really good my wife and I had a great time. No bad seats
All the rating showed a great show. 1/2 of it was high school quality acting. 1/2 of it was low end circus acts.
Show was ok but definitely not a wow factor. Three leads were 75+ years old…. and not up to date.
Wow by name, WOW, WOW, WOW by nature! I don't know how many times I uttered wow during this show. This was the most wonderful show I've seen in Las Vegas! Very family friendly. My heart was in my mouth a couple of times, I had to look away during the roller-skating it was too intense. The storyline was brilliant. Time went by so quickly. I will definitely see this show again! My kids are still talking about it!
What a wonderful show. Wow was a fantastic price with strip level performers. A wonderful old skool vegas show with magic and comedy, daring acts, acrobatics, and surprising clever acts with brilliant singing and years of skilled trained artists. And clever LED set ups Slightly inconvenient to get to from the strip at rio but worth the effort for an A+ show youd expect on the strip at half the price.
The show overall had a great theme, artists were amazing, especially Sylvia Sylvia. This was the 1st event of our vacation and it definitely kicked things off to a great celebration. Enjoyed the acrobatics and amazed by the roller skates.
The surround visuals and sounds were amazing. The acts were professional and what I had always heard of Vegas production shows. I strongly recommend this show to first-time Vegas visitors.
Had relatives visiting, great show for teens to grandparents
The different group acts are good but the “story” to connect them is So Bad!
Many of these 'types' of acts I have seen on "Americas Got Talent."Nevertheless it was funny at times, choreography was good, costumes were colorful. I would see again.
Excellent show ! Really did “WOW” us! Kids and grandparents LOVED it!
The show is really great.; a lot of times I had to say “Wow!” I loved it! It offers a variety of acts that really amazing, and keep you always at the edge of your seat wondering what comes next. The theme is great, the visual effects are great, especially the Titanic one, that screen is super fabulous. The characters follow a line in the story that makes sense. The only thing that has to improve is the choreographies, which are not very great. The choreographies could be better, because the dancers are really good; Just change the choreography to a more interesting and challenging one. Other than that, it’s all great! The skaters, the three men (like Cipendales), the lady with the bow and arrow (uff!!), the pizza man, everything!! The dancers were beautiful and danced beautiful (just change the choreography). In summary: Wow! Super awesome!!
We really liked the show. Many acts were WOW!! We had a great time.
This was in a fairly small room at the Rio, so you always felt like you were right up in the action. The show could not have a better name. I think we both said “wow!” at least 10 times each and meant it! Multiple different acts and they were so amazing! The worst part about the show was the one dumb guy that started the show off in a raincoat. I don’t know who thought of that role but they need to get rid of him completely, it was sooo bad. Was ridiculous and whenever he came out you just dreaded whatever he’s going to do next. The ushers were telling us that this room was used by Prince and gave us other history type information about the room and Rio in general. That was way more interesting and we would’ve rather had someone just stand up there and tell the whole room about the history then have the dumb guy in the raincoat acting stupid. (I know he was just wasting time while the different acts came and went off the stage.) We have been to a couple of other variety shows and this definitely was the best. Wow! Just FYI, there are no snacks, just a bar inside of the room. After the show they were about five of the performers that stood just outside of the room that you could take your picture with for free.
We had originally wanted to see a Cirque show but couldn't get tickets. We were not disappointed with this show. 11th row center in a booth was a perfect spot. WOW is the perfect name for this show as I can't even count how many times we said WOW during the show.
Similar to going to a circus with all the variety of skits. Everyone was amazing. Fun from start to finish. Had something good fort everyone. Do not see many shows that are not enhanced with computer technology. Thrilling to be so close the the action. They were all professionals.
Great venue, one of the best in Vegas. Show is jam packed with WOW moments. Second time to see it. Just a wonderful ole fashioned variety show with drama, comedy, novelty acts, dancing and costumes added to modern graphic backgrounds. Great for all ages.
Entertaining, beautiful intimate venue, variety of entertainment. Wonderful performance.
Firstly, the theatre itself. Small but very cosy and a close up, with an almost personal view of the show. Everything happens right in front of you. Next, the show itself. Starts off fairly slow but builds up to quite a fun and lively climax towards the end. There’s a comedic story led “act” that threads its way through all the different acrobatic performances, which is quite fun (if not a little tiresome at times). For those of you taking your good ladies along, there’s one act in particular where you will see a distinct change in behaviour and attention (haha)! All in all it was a good show and worth going along to.
This show has a lot of variety. Highly Recommend for all ages. Not a bad seat in the room.
