It was disappointing that Guy Ross was not there. The show was good, but too short.

    Had a Blast!

by LNG on 4/10/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

We really enjoyed the Pop Up party and will definitely go again. I would have liked the show to be more like a recording of one of their narrative podcasts, though, rather than two what’s and a wow.

My 7 year old loved it but 10 year old was bored

by JT on 4/8/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

We were really excited about this event and have been listening to Wow for almost a year. Maybe we had too high of expectations, but the 1 hour performance along with some technical issues, made me rethink how much we paid ($300) for 4 of us and got pretty much a different version of the podcast. If this was more fairly priced, they probably would have had a larger attendance with a more realistic expectation of the event.

    Performance Was Wonderful!

by Wowzer on 4/6/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

My daughter absolutely adored this show! WitW is her favorite podcast and she was delighted to watch their experiments and antics live. I wish there had been more info on exactly what was included in the VIP package - we purchased it, and I think it was too expensive for just a photo op, but my daughter still loved the opportunity, so I suppose it was still worth it.

    Short but packed!

by PortersMom on 4/6/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

This quick 60 min adventure is packed with science and laughs! Audience participation as well (although you have to pay extra for that). Overall we enjoyed our experience.

    Fun show, but too short!

by J on 3/27/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

We love Wow in the World podcast and we thought it was a fun show. I was surprised though that it wasn’t even an hour in length. For the money of the ticket, I would have hoped for at least an hour and a half!

Really fun but a little short

by Palmettoparrot on 3/23/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

Great performance! Entertaining and educational. Several kids got to go on stage for experiments. Audience encouraged to dance a couple of times near their seats. My only critique was the length of the show. It’s only an hour. They could have easily gone another 30-60 minutes and everyone would have loved it.

    The value just wasn’t there

by ApexDad on 3/23/22DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

My kids love WITW. Considering the price of admission, after viewing the show, my only guess is 99% of the sales go to Guy and Mindy, and the other 1% goes toward production value. The set was as sophisticated as something you’d expect from a high school play. The content was nothing more than banal back and forth between the characters on stage and a few very lackluster audience participation bits. The topper? The show was only 45 minutes long. However, given my opinion of the show, anyone attending should consider that a blessing in disguise. At the end of the day my kids (6,8) seemed to enjoy it, so there you go. But, because of the ridiculous cost, I would not recommend it. There are so many other exciting things you can do with you kids for several hundred dollars a ticket. Save your money.
