    The Mecca

by lhr08161 on 12/18/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Called the Mecca of boxing for a reason. Great atmosphere made extra special by adopted New Yorker, Miguel Cotto. We had fantastic seats but I'd imagine there isn't a bad one in the house. A must for any boxing fan or sports fan in general.

Cotto fight was a horrible experience

by Rican1130 on 12/9/12Madison Square Garden - New York

My vies was partially blocked by a plastic petition as well as the arm rest on my seat being cracked causing my shirt to get ripped !! Overall was not pleased. Tickets were purchased by my wife as a birthday gift to me. Was not happy at all with the experience.

    Miguel Cotto vs Austin Trout

by KidBx260 on 12/5/12Madison Square Garden - New York

We were seated on the floor in section 2 row 4 which had a great view for boxing due to the fact that there was a slight elevation in each row as opposed to the VIP section B which was closer to the ring but all the seats were at the same level causing your view to be blocked unless you were seated in the front row. All in all my particular seats were $500 each which was well worth it for an event that I dont attend often. The atmosphere was great.

    Boxing at Madison Square Garden

by iloveboxing on 12/4/12Madison Square Garden - New York

This was my first time going to a boxing event in Madison Square Garden. I really enjoyed the Cotto vs Trout Championship Fight on December 1, 2012.

    Event was forgettable

by Leejreyes99 on 12/4/12Madison Square Garden - New York

I have been to many professional boxing events. And unfortunately I have to say this one was the worst of all. The music was low. Usually the main fighters are shown entering the arena & warming up. To build excitement. There was none of that at this event. The energy was very monotone.

This event was worst the money we paid for it. It's the second time I go and see a fight in the garden. I will do it again.

Price was too much for the selected seats. In addition the show had various empty spaces not covered by production. And last but not least the production showed a very poor Macho Camacho Tribute, really disappointed as a boxer fan.

Seeing the fight was a great experience

by Loveforfun on 12/3/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Seeing this fight was a great experience these two seats were great. We saw so many older fighters as well in the audience who were so friendly, took pictures with everyone. The guards who were stationed by our seats were very friendly, did their job well and were and were pleasant to hang out with. All in all an electric evening.

Even though Cotto lost, It was an AMAZING Night!!

by BoxingFan34 on 12/3/12Madison Square Garden - New York

So yea I unfortunately attended Miguel Cotto's first loss at MSG but besides that it was a very good night of boxing. The atmosphere is bar none and was amazing. I am Colombian but was rooting for all the Puerto Rican boxers and the Puerto Ricans at the fight were very passionate and loud yet respectful. There were lots of women and kids at this fight and I think there was one fight in the towards the front row near ringside but that was it. There were some drunks but peaceful, passionate, and nice drunks if that makes any sense. So it was one of the best sporting events I ever attended and looking forward to attending more boxing fights at MSG. Oh and One last thing MSG is an amazing arena and have no critiques

Nice vibe most of the night...

by CashNel on 12/3/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Free T-shirt distribution was a little prejudice being that only the floor seats received them. I know there is an air gun in the garden some where.

    Great Fights, Better Enviornment

by HanoverProjects on 11/21/12UIC Pavilion - Chicago

A great night of fights. We had a quick knockout, some great battles, and tremendous controversy in the main event. It is always great to watch boxing in Chicago, especially when the Polish crowd comes out, because they are so passionate for the sport.

8 fights for about $35? Great value! Several entertaining fights, not a bad seat in the house, hope HBO boxing comes back soon!
