    Party not a Concert!!!

by Femcee on 6/20/11Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

I have been to well over 50 concerts & i kinda know how a concert supposed to be like, but i will say this.........The 102 jamz superjam was a party, not a concert! Idk if they didnt have enuf money to pay every artist to perform for a certain amt of time & certain songs, but did anybody feel like it was a promotional show for the artist? Besides jeezy, lloyd, and flacka, everyone else kinda just got up on stage and rapped. Didnt engage w/ the audience. The only thing that i wished was that they could have did more old songs. Thats what got them to superstar status in the first place. Whenever the crowd start fighting and sitting down during a performance...........that should let u know, Its wack. No more rap concerts for me unless its t.i, wayne, and Jay-z!!!!!!!!!

    Fun time with friends.

by everydayangel90 on 6/19/11Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

I liked Lloyd and Jeremiah the most. When Jeremiah started playing the piano I almost went crazy! Woka Floka was rather annoying though, he just screamed into the mic. It was fun, good time to dance and all.

    Eh...

by GBoroJess on 6/26/10Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

This concert was poorly put together. There was a lot of down time in between act when nobody really seemed to know what was going on. The DJ's kept messing up and the songs were skipping in and out. The Party Boyz were kicked off the stage because they clearly had no idea how long the had or blatantly ignored how much time they would be given. Either way this act was a pure disappointment. 102 Jamz dancers just barely pulled their spot together got booed and should have left... We all love MJ but their tribute should have seemed less impromptu/ vaguely planned an more deliberate if they were trying to honor MJ and not just take up some time in a attempt to get the crowd back interested in the show. Waka was clearly the highlight of the concert because shortly after his set finished people started to leave. By the time Plies had finished more than 25% of the crowd seemed to have left and by the time Ludacris came out more than 1/3 appeared to have left the show. After his little promo for his up and coming acts I was the only person in my row (section 117) and my section wasn't the exception. It was awkward when Luda seed to just leave in the middle of his set,, but if I was him I would have been upset too. Maybe if the concert had been better organized the crowd would of held and he would of had a full stadium to rap to. Overall it was worth my time/money because I just wanted to see waka and he killed it . I would have bought the ticket just to see him but here I got some bonus rappers that were cool to see in concert.

I enjoyed myself, the best of the night were waka and plies, they shut it down, although i was kinda upset that the music messed up and party boys couldnt do hit em with the flexx:( but other than that it was good.
