Within Temptation, a Dutch symphonic metal band, has recently released the song and video, “Paradise (What About Us?),” from their upcoming album, "Hydra." Fans of this female-fronted band will be treated to a spectacular concert when the group goes on tour in spring 2014. Those lucky enough to get tickets are always in for an unforgettable night, thanks to Sharon den Adel's powerful soprano vocals combined with her partner, Robert Westerholt's rhythmic guitar skills. Their concerts are well known for being a mix of dynamic ballads and symphonic anthems that take full advantage of the group’s musical and performance talents.
The band released their first album, "Enter," in 1997, followed by "Mother Earth" in 2000. "The Silent Force" came out in 2004 and was certified gold in just a week in the Netherlands, Belgium and Finland. It also ended up being certified platinum in the Netherlands. "The Heart of Everything" came out in 2007 to critical success, reaching gold status in three countries and platinum in the Netherlands. It hit number one on the Dutch Albums chart and broke into the US Billboard Top 200, peaking at number 106. "The Unforgiving" album came out in 2011 and was certified gold in Poland. Metal Storm awarded it third place in the 2011 Best Symphonic Metal Album of the Year list. The band’s next project, "Hydra," will feature guest artists Howard Jones from Killswitch Engage, Dave Pirner and Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish singer). Within Temptation will hit the road for a world tour at the end of February 2014, and tickets are now available. The group looks forward to seeing all their fans at the concerts.

Venue crowd was ok except for some tall people cutting into the crowd and standing in front of short people, which seems to happen a lot at these shows. Had no idea VIP tix were previously available. WT - Please tour more in the US!

Sharon den Adel has some of the best vocals I have ever heard from rock band and I had to experience it live. While her and the rest of the band performed remarkably, there were some technical difficulties with the microphones during the show. I am not the biggest fan of the Terminal 5 venue, it is alright. It's not the best place for most concerts, but it's not the worst either. Bottomline: the band and their performance was amazing, would have preferred a different venue for them

Well, I didn't have to kill but I did get to see them in Toronto and it was an unbelievable concert. WT was everything I had hoped. Sharon was just as gorgeous as all the pix of her I had seen. If there was ever one concert I wanted, this was it!! Sharon said they hopefully would be back next year, well so will I!!! Within Temptation RULES!!

by propanerat on 9/9/11Sound Academy - TorontoWhat can one say? Within Temptation, argueably one of the biggest acts in Europe, in a small intimate venue. It's awesome to be 5 ft from the band! And even more awesome that they will come over here and play for us in such a small theater. The band never fails to satisfy! Sharon sounded awesome, and the band was very entertaining. If you are a WT fan don't miss one of these small venue shows!

Although it has been 3 years since it passed, I still remember it as though it were yesterday. All the electricity that hung in the air was really contagious. There was so much excitement, and it was exceedingly fun filled for all. I enjoyed myself to the max and I can't wait for them to have another concert out here.
