My first time seeing The Chuck Brown Band. Am an avid fan of Mint Condition and thought the combination would be great. Would like to see them perform more songs together if possible next time. Enjoyed being able to dance along with both groups, it was the best concert experience I've ever had!
This was my first time at the Howard Theater. My husband and I had a great time. The venue was lovely, although we were thoroughly disappointed in the food. We would certainly go back but just drinks next time. Mint Condition was awesome! I expected to be taken back to my high school days, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much they had evolved as artists. The Chuck Brown Band was also good, but I have to say I was there to see Mint Condition and they did not disappoint!
Soooo glad the band stayed together and created these Wind me up nights. We miss Chuck Brown so much and it's nice to hear the music again and dance with what it seems like a whole community of folks! Mint Condition was on point playing almost every classic and new favorites as well. A great night with great friends (and strangers-turned-friends)!
MC are true musicians and incredible performers. The show was extraordinary; the band rocked out to MC standards from the Luxury Brown album, had the entire room grooving with Forever in Your Eyes and Swinging, then took us back in the day with Barry White. The highlight of the evening for locals was seeing MC share the stage with Chuck Brown's band. The impromptu Go-Go set is a testament to MC's craftsmanship and versatility. Awesome show. Real music lovers must see Mint Condition perform live...be the look for the next opportunity!
This was my first time to the historic, newly-renovated, Howard Theatre, and I must admit....overall, I was very impressed. The venue is awesome, very high-quality....Chuck Brown's band was nice; I am not a big go-go man, so I can't give them but so much love, but Mint Condition was unbelievably good. My only gripe was that the food was mediocre....and extremely expensive. Regardless, I'd highly recommend going to a concert/dinner there.

The show was great. The Chuck Brown Band did a great job and Mint Condition came out and continued the party. I am sure Chuck Brown would have been proud of all. I have never been disappointed when I have seen either band.
Chuck Brown's band burned it up! and then Mint??? MC confirmed why they're my favorite band! and the Howard is a really good venue to see a grown up concert! all in all a great night!
The bad sound amazing along with the family members. I'm glad I went. Raheem DeVaughn always gives a great show. He is so personable with the crowd.
What an amazing show....Chuck Brown's music never gets old and will continue to make you move your feet, clap your hands and shake your bootay!!! I will return again...

The show was great!! The Chuck Brown Band is a must see. This was a wonderful tribute to the Godfather of Go Go Chuck Brown. George Clinton has still got it!! He should come back and play with The Chuck Brown Band again. The Howard Theatre is the place to be if you like class and good service. I can't wait to go to the Howard Theatre again.
The show was the bomb, I would go again. One thing I must tell u the food was terrible everything I taste was bad.
