Willy Chirino never disappoints. I’ve been to see him 3 times in the past year and the performances are always extremely energetic vibrant and nostalgic. Thank you Willy for all you have done for the Cuban people.
I enjoyed this concert so much. Willy Chirino is a great singer and exceptional human being that cares deeply about the 🇨🇺 Cuban people and their quest for freedom and human rights. He makes you proud to be a Cuban American and I love his music and talent.

The overall experience - from our arrival to the concert, the concert, to leaving the venue - was awesome. There is one "but." The venue needs to be updated. The majority of the audience that day were elderly. The stairways going to the seats did not have railings. Many of your employees had to assist the elderly, which that should not be their job - that was nice of them. Some areas were dark. When I had to get up to either the concession on the rest-room, I needed to go slow as I was afraid to fall. But all in all the overall concert experience: from parking, ticket areas, employees and all - was excellent. Thank you for giving me the chance to express my concerns.
I was in Chicago for a Corporate Conference when I found out that Willy Chirino would be playing a FREE public concert at one of the parks by Lake Michigan. This was in September of 1991 or 1992. I had all of his cassette ( !!??!! ) recordings up that point, loved & enjoyed the joy, lyrics, orchestrations, passion & rythyms of his music. Exiting the tour bus at the park entrance, I was struck by a car that had hurriedly gone around the bus and struck me. No Willy Chirino concert for me !! I’m from California, the technology for concert’s promotions would remain for many years to the big city venues & their newspapers, family, etc. Thank you TicketMaster for emailing me about one of my salsa music heroes !! He’s still got the voice and work ethic to provide his audience with over an hour and a half of NONSTOP hot salsa tune after another. His band was TIGHT — rythm section, percussion and horns !! Totally professional !! I’m sure he was tired after such an exciting show, but his singing voice never waivered, he was so personable & classy; and, people were dancing in the aisles !! Willy Chirino & TicketMaster — a great combination act !!
Sat at the balcony, couldn’t make up what he was saying, horrible sound. Knew the lyrics and sang and danced along. Wouldn’t go back to Alex Theatre again.
Willy Chirino is the best songwriter to ever come out of Cuba. The work he has done and the dedication he has shown to see a free Cuba goes beyond that of anyone’s. I’m proud to share nationality with this man. Greatest Show Ever.

The concert at the Seminole Casino was phenomenal. The one thing that was disheartening were the seats. They were tied together and too small. You couldn’t separate the seat from your neighbor because it was tied together with a zip tie. You were literally sitting on your strangers lap. I totally understand the purpose is for security reasons but the seats must be larger and the gap in between should be a couple inches more.
He was charismatic, energetic, funny, and above all talented! Thank you for bringing the songs and sounds of our 🇨🇺 Cuban people! Thank you for the orchestra and keeping me dancing the entire evening. BRAVO 👏
Bad part is the seating. Those tiny chairs and being tied together was not comfortable for a big individual. So close couldn’t actually move. When standing we were so close everytime I moved I was hitting someone.
We had a great time! Lots of fun. Great event. I didn’t know there would be food trucks at the event so we ate inside the casino.
The concert last 3 hrs 15 min without intermission. It was a lot of fun and also a lot of nostalgia. Chirino had to have worked very hard to put together this wonderful concert. He also invited about 10 of very well known celebrities, some of them from old times, very nice. I enjoyed one of the best night event of my life.

I have seen multiple contacts with him and this one was just exceptional! Many unexpected singers and just enjoyed it so much!!!
