Rating: 5 out of 5 Come to NJ next year!!
by SkipSkool on 5/31/11The Mann Center - PhiladelphiaAll the artists were great, Randy Houser was really really good. The first time I got to see him and I will make sure I check him out everytime he comes up to our area...superb. I have seen Jamey Johnson before, I have a few of his cds and as always thought he is incrtedible. In my eyes, one of the top songwriters in the world today. Incredible ability to pen a song. Willie is just a living legend that plays the performance of a lifetime effortlessly. His acoustic is just an extension of his body. You guys need to bring this tour into NJ next time round, the pnc art center perhaps. I look forward to catching up with all the artists in some smaller venues, so tell your booking agents to get some gigs in NJ cause we have a great supportive scene and appreciate what you all are doing. Thanks
Rating: 3 out of 5by angrygal on 5/31/11The Mann Center - Philadelphia All in all I didn't think the talent was very good. I was expecting "country" music. Most of the acts were not "country" in my sense of the word. Jamey Johnson was pretty good, but other than him, I felt like this was more of a rock concert. Willie was good, but again I was a little disappointed. He didn't play very long and never even did one encore. I don't think I've been to a concert where the artist didn't do an encore. He didn't seem into the performance.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Preformers were amazing
by CATKEV on 5/31/11The Mann Center - PhiladelphiaMy husband and I had an amazing time at the Throwdown. The only thing I found frustrating was that the beer was $9 a glass and warm. It was about 95 degrees that day and it would have be nice to bring your own cold beer into the concert.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Throwdown Tour was incredible
by Kfegs on 5/30/11The Mann Center - PhiladelphiaThis was by far one of the best if not the best concerts I've ever attended. The meet and greets with each artist after their performances was awesome. They were all very friendly and personable. This concert was worth every penny and I hope they continue touring each year. I will go as many times as I can. I give it 5 stars hands down.

Rating: 5 out of 5by DarenN on 5/30/11The Mann Center - Philadelphia I have adored Willie since I was 9 years old. I am now 40! I am a huge country music fan but nobody is like Willie Nelson. His love for the music and his fans is as pure as his voice. We love you Willie!
Rating: 1 out of 5by Anonymous on 5/30/11The Mann Center - Philadelphia when I purchased my tickets for my wife and grandson, they stated 3pm concert. When we arrived gates didnt open till 3pm.I was told at the gate I couldnot bring my camera into the concert.I was told no professional camera was allowed.(it was a canon rebel)not a professional camera. Also individual was very ignorant. When we got to our seats found little red spiders all over seats. It semed to me there was more interest in selling beer.I also feel program should have explained, there was a stage at the top of the hill besides the main stage..I finally asked an attendant when the main concert would start and was told 5pm.Afer an hout and a half killing little red spiders we left.WE have been to numerous WILLE NELSON concerts at other locations and I have to say they were organized much much better.I am a retired Marine so I dont have anything against people drinking.but when I pay to go to any type of event I expect the staff to be helpful and POLITE.
Rating: 3 out of 5 Throwdown a bit of a let down
by GypsyRose1199 on 5/29/11The Mann Center - PhiladelphiaThis was our first time at the Mann. Although we heard so many good things about it, we were disappointed. The box seats although had a great birds eye view, were extremely hot and had no air movement. The music on the main stage for the first two acts (Lee Brice and Randy Houser) was so loud it was distorted. We moved around the theater to hear from different angles, but no help. Fortunately when Jamey came on stage, his mellow low voice did not get too loud. Some of the jamming did and it was a shame to drown out his voice. We love Jamey, though and were happy to have the chance to see him. Willie was awesome. We tried to see him in Reading last year but the show was canceled so we didn't want to miss this opportunity. He did a nice compilation of many of his best. His music was just perfect and his voice is still strong. I am glad I got to finally see him but wish I didn't have to wait until 10. Unfortunately, people were talking so much it was a distraction from his performance.
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 5/29/11The Mann Center - Philadelphia This is the 1st concert I've been to where every artist that performed was excellent. If you like country this is a must see event, something for every age group.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Non stop music- Great show!
by SandyJF on 5/29/11The Mann Center - PhiladelphiaLots of fun to walk from stage to stage. Great music, great crowd- everyone mellow and just there to have a good time. Willie was, of corse, the BEST, and Jamie Johnson played a great set list (mowin' down the roses/color were my favorites.) New artist Brantley Gilbert put on a great show as well.
