Willie & Lobo Tickets

I grew up listening to Willie and Lobo. My dad, sister, and I listened to them all of the time and saw them quite a few times over the years. For my Dad's birthday, my sister and I wanted to bring him to a concert of some type and were so excited when we saw that Willie and Lobo were finally coming to town. These two are such exceptional musicians and have a charisma that make the entire experience so much fun. Lobo's guitar skills are so insane! You barely see his hand move while he's playing. Plus he has such a sweet demeanor. Willie's immersion in the music while he plays is really fun to watch. He moves his body in ways that is like watching the music pouring out of him. There are times when he hums or semi-sings with the music and harmonizes with his fiddle-it's pretty spectacular. Watching them play is a delight and I hope they come around to Arizona again soon.

Don't think you can listen and watch two finer musicians! Absolutely perfect pitch and tone. Their music enters in your soul and tells a story. Danced in my seat endlessly. Wish the dance floor had been cleared! Finally just found a spot in the corner. Starting at 6pm was a bummer. Hard to get there after work. Should have been later than 7p.

It's incredible there's so much amazing talent packed into two people. That they can spill it out and share it is even better. What a joy to see their concert.

I AM SO EXCITED TO BE ABLE TO SEE AND HEAR THIS GREAT DUO - AGAIN..I CAUGHT THEM IN TUCSON LAST YEAR IN A VERY SMALL VENUE..IT DID NOT DO THEM JUSTICE...BUT OVER THE PAST 12 YEARS, MOSTLY THE FIRST 6 OF THOSE 12 YEARS...THEY HAVE POPPED IN AND AROUND SOME VENUES IN PHOENIX AZ AND SEDONA. I AM SO EXCITED TO GET SEE THEM PERFORM AGAIN. WOW... I SHARED THEIR MUSICAL TALENT AND CONCERT LOCATIONS WITH QUITE A FEW FRIENDS...THEY ARE ALL PLANNING TO MAKE IT TO THE RHYTHUM ROOM IN PHOENIX ARIZONA IN MAY TO ENJOY THE NIGHT WITH WILLIE AND LOBO....OMG ANYONE (LIKE THE ONE NEGATIVE COMMENT PERSON HERE) THAT DOES NOT GET A JOLT FROM THESE TWO VERY TALENTED GUYS - HAVE NO MUSIC OR BEAT IN THEIR BLOOD... I hadn't seen Willie and Lobo for about 5 years. They were just as good as the very first time I had seen. It was hard for me to stay in my seat during the performance. Very upbeat and entertaining.

Willie reminded me a little of Donald Fagan. While the music was OK, it was not enough to make me want to purchase their CD's , which they hawked a few times during the show. The crowd was small with a wide range of ages, all very polite. I have never been to the Center Stage theater before, and while the location smelled fine, I am having all my clothes dry cleaned prior to wearing them again. Lets just say someone should take some time to clean the seats

These guys are amazing. I'm sure they're are more qualified reviewers out there - I'm not much of a wordsmith. All I can say is that these two musicians will captivate you and take on a journey during their set that you'll never forget. I drove from Knoxville, TN in the ice and snow based on having seen them once before about ten years ago and I'd do that again in a heartbeat. If you have the opportunity, see them.
