Watching the movie was fun. After the movie, listening to William Shatner ramble, almost incoherently, for over an hour was painful. Spoke very little about Star Trek. Very disappointed!!
Shatner is an amazing story teller.. I loved hearing about his experiences and how at 92 he still can relate to todays Technology. Highly recommend seeing him!!
I was shocked at the amazing performance by Mr. Shatner. For 92, he is as sharp as a tack!
Overall it was a good experience. I liked watching the movie on a big screen. I like some of the questions. I hated that they moved my seat. I went from first row in the balcony to almost last row on the floor. I don't care what you say that is not a better seat. I thought Shatner spoke too much about the Hollywood strike. I would've preferred more questions about his career not just Star Trek. He did many other shows and movies, (Twilight Zone, TJ Hooker, Boston Legal, etc.). Would've loved to do the meet and greet but it was way overpriced. He only spoke for about an hour which was disappointing.
It was my husband’s birthday gift from me. We enjoyed the movie The Wrath of Kahn! William Shatner was amazing!! We have been trek fans for years!!! We will treasure this special program for years to come!!
It’s a great movie and this version had a few extra scenes added. The live onstage had very little about the movie and some random stories unrelated to the genre or series. Photo op was a production line with no interaction and kept on the other side of a Covid barrier.
Love Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. And to be a few feet away from Captain Kirk was incredible. Someone we've watched for so many years, at 92, to have the energy and stamina to stand up and chat for an hour and a half was amazing!
Could have been better. Shatner went on lots of tangents and took a while to get to the point. Questions should have been screened better. Q and A should have focused more on wrath of Khan.
William Shatner was a blast. He told funny stories. He told us about Star trek actors he loved and some who didn't like him. He spoke about his world travels and his venture into space. His energy level was amazing. I would definitely call him charismatic. And a lot of fun. The space was comfortable and easy to access. Marquis, the manager of the club level was incredibly helpful. The food, the bar and the seating, along with the easy valet parking made the night perfect. This is one of many events we have attended at the Broward Center and they've all been great.
His mind is so sharp and his stories put you right there as if you were a witness to so many wonderful things in his star trek life.
The movie portion of the experience was good. Getting to see Wrath of Khan in a cinema-like setting was fun and nostalgic. Unfortunately, Shatner's time on stage was disappointing. He rambled on a great deal about things like artificial intelligence, climate change, how he bought his first horse, and his struggles with the alarm on his phone in his hotel room one night. Riveting stuff to some, I suppose, but I came to hear about the magic of making movies and some of the interesting things that surely must have happened playing Kirk over the years.
My husband and I enjoyed the show so much. The film played like we were right there. The theatre enhanced the whole sound and the color. Willian Shatner was great. We haven't laughed so much in a while. The man is amazing. We will aways remember that night.
What a show!! After the screening, the stories this man can tell, definitely needed more of that but understand it couldn’t go all night. I did not know what to expect and honestly got tickets on a whim but very glad to have experienced this moment.
If I wanted to watch a Star Trek movie, I could have done that at home. The interview was interesting but the microphone garbled some of what he said. Random seats in the auditorium could have been picked with the holder asking a question instead of the few questions that were supposedly offered by someone before the show. I didn't know where to go for submitting a question. This type of show will not be my preferred. I've been there for other shows and enjoyed them.
Even though I have seen all the Star Trek movies numerous times, it's still a pleasure to watch one again. Then seeing William Shatner on stage after the movie for a question and answer segment was the icing on the cake. He showed us his personal side with his wit, humor and interesting segments of the wonders of the world and how it applies to mankind. Total enjoyed the question and answer portion - wish it would have been longer!
It was a fun, evening. We were impressed at Bill, walking around and talking at 10:30 at night while being 92 years old. He was entertaining, and engaged. There were times his stories were a little hard to follow as his train of thought wandered. It was fairly evident however that a number of questions fielded were per-determined and not submitted by the audience that night. His answer about his Blue Origin flight was almost verbatim the one he has given in interviews previously. Despite the screening being The Wrath of Kahn, there was not a single question about working on that particular movie. Mr. Shatner's answer about the SAG strike and its affect on his show was very humorous, but it would have been nice to hear more about his experiences working on various SAG covered projects.
WOW!!!! It was a great show!!! William Shatner was amazing, he was non stop energy on stage. His stories were great. I am so glad we attended and highly recommend seeing him.
William Shatner was a delight to watch, very interactive, entertaining, and extremely energetic. I would recommend this show to any Shatner fan and/or Trekkie.
The venue was super nice. William Shatner was amazing. Bought this for my husband's 70th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary as a combined celebration. He thought it was fabulous and very creative. Highly recommend the venue.
I had a fantastic time at William Shatner Live! I'd go again!
