We missed the warmup bands but got there just in time for the Ladies. They did not disappoint. The self titled new disc is great but to hear them live really brings them to their full potential. The band is exactly that....a band. One unit that works like a perfect running machine...and that's pretty amazing considering they've only been together for a year. A must see band.
A good, fun rock show. It's always good to see a band that looks and sounds like it's having more fun than anyone there. Especially if Carrie Brownstein is on lead guitar.
In the words of Iggy Pop: "LOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRD!!!!!!!!!!!" This is one of the best rock shows I've seen all year, and that includes the reunited Guided By Voices, so you know it's real. I don't think there are enough hyperbolic adjectives in the English language to describe the overpowering awesomeness of Wild Flag. My mind was properly blown. Also, Bowery Ballroom is always nice, the tickets were affordable, and the merch was cool. Signed vinyl! Butch and Sundance t-shirts! These gals are just the best.
Wow, what a show. Inspirational, rock and roll artistry. They went beyond the sum of their parts. GO SEE THEM, they are great great live!!! You will not forget them anytime soon.
If you're thinking about going, don't think, just go.
These women rock in the best tradition- non stop music and non stop action on stage. They are masters of their instuments .They put passion into their performance!
Absolutely great show by Wild Flag! They seemed like they were having a blast up there and the crowd was right there with them.

See above. These Ladies were phenomenal! Crowd seemed to be waiting for some S/K or Helium songs, but Wild Flag was amazing. Loved it.
