I thought tickets were quite expensive especially if your team made it far and had to come back for 3-4 days.
Good basketball need more food choices at Dome, and really the gal in front of me paid $8.00 for a small bag of chips.
I enjoyed attending the 2022 Hardwood Classic Tournament and appreciated the online ticket purchasing process. Made for a very smooth experience. However, I am confused about how the brackets for the tourney had the #1 seed Garfield playing the #2 seed Auburn in the final-8 quarter finals round. That appeared to be a huge mismanagement of ‘bracketology’ and a negative hit to tournament overall, in my opinion. Maybe this will be addressed and adjusted for all future tournaments. Congrats to ALL of the teams in the tourney, and a big salute to the 2022 champions, Auburn HS.
Great experience for family, friends and of course the players! Thanks to the folks who put this together and thanks to the Dome, still standing and welcoming a wonderful event!!!
For a multi-day exeperience where it isn't always apparent how many days you will want tickets for, there should be a way to purchase discounted tickets for the next day while on-site. This would encourage people to come back the next day if they didn't buy the multi-pass. Also for events like this, make it clear which side the next teams are supposed to be on so people dont have to wait until the cheerleaders come out to know where to be.
First off 1st and 2nd place teams should never have to play on day 2.. the brackets shouldn’t be set up to have teams that already constantly play each other match up again and again. It was such a disappointment. And to know one team tanked a game to drop into a lower bracket is terrible. After coming for many years it’s our last!
Just another T-dome/WIAA let down. First, it just isn’t a good viewing venue; poor lighting, dirty seating areas; outlandish concession prices for EVERYTHING! Paid only $8.79 for my mocha. Apparently, no one could run the full scoreboards, with player numbers, points & fouls, until the semi-final round on Friday. A few of the courtside game announcers were excellent! But, some yelled so loudly into the microphones, you couldn’t sit anywhere near the front where the speakers would blast you away. Hoping for some better WIAA decisions in the future for players & fans.
Nice venue but ridiculous ticket prices. Make it affordable so people can attend to support the teams.
It was my first time at the Tacoma Dome but I enjoyed every game. The food was kind of pricey but in today's sporting world that's expected but me and my daughter had a great time.
