About

White Panda on Tour

A panda looks out over a rabid crowd of thousands as he drops banger after banger from an elevated stage in the glow of neon, pyro, strobes, spotlights, and lasers. That's just one evening in the life of the electronic dance mammal White Panda. Though his specific origins remain fuzzy at best, here's what we know... He originally hailed from somewhere in Chicago, presumably the Lincoln Park Zoo. He and another cub threw their favorite songs into a stew and stirred up mashups online as far back as 2009 and became what Vibe described as "the mashup kings." By 2018, the legend of White Panda had eclipsed 40 Hype Machine #1s, and 200 million listens across streaming platforms. The bulk of early material comprises six mashup albums—Versus, Rematch, Pandamonium, Bambooyah, Bearly Legal, and The Pawprint. Along the way, he sunk his claws into sets at Lollapalooza, Bottlerock (3x), Electric Zoo, and Firefly (6x) in addition to joining bills with The Chainsmokers, Twenty One Pilots, Tiësto, Ty Dolla $ign, Big Sean, MGMT, and Steve Aoki.

During 2018, White Panda announced the departure of his fellow cub as well as the next phase - original music. The very first original single, "Hands On Me feat. Loote" upholds this promise. White Panda supplies buoyant and bright production punctuated by finger-snaps and snappy synths as Loote slides into the festival-ready refrain, "Baby get your hands on me."

In the end, White Panda will continue to surprise and spread joy everywhere he goes.

White Panda was amazing! Cover bands were pretty good too, but I think they stayed on a little too long.

    Amazing.

by irvinefan on 10/14/12Howard Theatre - Washington

I knew their music was good - I've downloaded all their songs for free on their website... but live? Insane. After seeing them in DC we decided to go and see them the next night in Philly too. Highly, highly recommended.

    Great DJ Party

by DCNightLife on 6/13/12Howard Theatre - Washington

As a respectable Mash-Up artist, The White Panda put on a great show. The crowd was having a great time dancing and listening to their tracks. The brand new Howard Theatre venue in D.C. was top notch and wasn't too crowded. There was a lot of energy, fan favorite songs, and a good stage light show for the audience.

    High School Dance

by DJIsoceles on 11/14/11Township Auditorium - Columbia

This event reminded me of a high school dance. There were a bunch of little kids there too, the space was barely filled halfway with people. White Panda was very good though.

White Panda itself was so good but the venue was way too big. That's never a good thing.

    white panda was insane

    by mike5606 on 7/22/11Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

The show was just amazing, from beginning to end, everything was just perfect. Mike Stud was a great way to open the show, and The White Panda was an amazing way to end. Na Palm and The Dean's List were fantastic and OCD was really good as well.

The other performers had a lot of energy and were very good. It took white panda way to long to set up and perform. Also the time between each performer was also very long.

    Better than GirlTalk!

    by clp2118 on 9/4/10Roxy Theatre - Hollywood

The White Panda was excellent! The music was expertly DJed and we were dancing all night. It was the better version of GirlTalk. Seriously. Hope these guys get more successful; they're very talented. Such a fun evening!
