Western New York Flash Tickets

Our family saw the WNY Flash compete against magicJack on July 20, 2011. Even though we were disappointed that dear Abby was not playing the game, we had a great evening watching women's professional soccer. As we watched the game from top row seats, we thought why the heck would people wait so long in line for hot dogs and fried dough when they could be watching the amazing skills of professional athletes on the field? We came for the sport, not the food! We hope WPS will find a home in Rochester for many years to come.

The event in and of itself was great! HOWEVER, the traffic in and out and the line to get in...waiting waiting waiting - rediculous - and no where near enough places to get food, especially for the upper deck area - you could have a portable cart with two sides - heated and cold for sandwiches, wraps, burgers, dogs and the like - do I have to do all the thinking for the inept who pretend to manage this place - unprepared for a well announced upcoming event....just horrific management and traffic engineering - AND some idiots wonder why people do not like to go downtown - geeeesh - idiots.

Definitely a memorable experience! Would see them again in an instant.

...but Abby should have played. She was phenomenal in the Cup, she's a world-class talent, and a great ambassador for the game. I know she's had heel problems and was emotionally drained, but given that the vast majority of the record crowd was there largely to see her, couldn't she have made a token appearance? Ten minutes in the second half is too much to ask for? It was a fine game, but seeing her enter the field would have caused pandemonium among the fans and made it all the more memorable.

My daughter and I had a wonderful night together watching soccer and seeing some amazing women.

Greatvto see so many World Cup participants. Ambince provided by sell out crowd was special as was speech by Abby Wambach.

Loved the game, it was awesome. My daughter is a young soccer player and she was just as excited as I was! Those girls were really talented on our Flash Team, wow!!!! MagicJacks were also good. Many of the girls were on the National Team which was great!

Game as very good, Marta played spectacularly and Sinclair did extremely well.

Although intilally disappointed Abby Wamabch didnt play, the opportubnity to see the rest of the recent World Cup players was awesome!

Good example of quality sporting event in Rochester, New York. I so enjoyed the talent and determination of these fine women soccer players. A joy to watch good, hard competition and fine sportsmanship.

The game was great. Seeing all the great athletes was great. But, it took us over an hour to get into the stadium to get to our seats.. Then went to concessions before the game started and they were out of water already. Definately NOT prepared for this big of a crowd and will never go back when this big of a crowd is coming. You need alot more pre-planning, especially in the heat that we had that day.

Sahlen's Stadium is a great place to watch soccer. I wish it was in Buffalo. Driving 90 minutes to a game and back is difficult, yet I have told many families that the trip is worth it for a few games. The concessions were very good and the seats were good. The players availability to sign autographs was the highlight for my two nieces.

What a great way to welcome back all of the World Cup stars to the US, an amazing game for both teams. These ladies are very talented!

My families first pro women's soccer game! It was great that we could welcome Abby home after a great World Cup effort.

We really enjoyed the game. The women played hard despite the heat, and it was an exciting, well played match. It was a bonus to see the nearly dozen players who'd played on about 4 of the World Cup teams.

Loved the chance to get a seat in an overflowing stadium to see the stars of the Women's World Cup reunite with their teams, and to witness the incredible support in Rochester for Abby Wambach. It would have better if she, Solo and Rapinoe played but it was understandable, given how recently they'd played in the finals of the World Cup. They were very gracious signing autographs for the hordes of young fans. Great environment; nice to watch soccer in a stadium that's built for it!

What a great night and a great game, The only complaint I have is the 4 jerks that sat behind us and got drunk and kept swearing in front of a ton of kids around them... Ugh.. otherwise I would rat the evening 5 STARS..... The Flash played a great game it it was great to see all the players from the World cup... Especially Abby Waumbach our local hero... I will deffinately go see the flash play again though because they were awesome...

The game was amazing. Even for having above capacity the extra seats had a good view and were well worth their price. Getting in and out of the stadium was easy and it was awesome to see Abby wambach while waiting in line to go in. Great game can't wait for them to play eachother again I will definitely be going.

Great night for soccer and the game was awesome. Players are highly skilled, aggressive, and their speed of play is superb. We are so lucky to have these women playing in Rochester. I've attended 3 games thus far and am truly pleased with the team.
