The line up was awesome. I would of liked for the high back chair rules to have been enforced. People were coming in and placing their high chairs right in front of others who brought their low chairs. Also the grounds were very patchy with lots of holes and dirt. I would attend next year if the performers were of the same calibur. Jakeim Joyner was definitely a special treat.
This jazz festival was one of the best I've attended, and I attend 3 or more every year. The Staff, Volunteers and Security were very friendly and helpful. The music lineup and performances were off the hook...."Sai What", Kieko Matsui, and Euge Groove were EXCELLENT, not to mention Howard Hewett still sounding as smooth as ever and still one of the best looking Brothers out there...... Disappointed in the quality of the merchandise the vendors were selling and seated in the VIP section I did expect the porta potties to be in better condition; but overall I say Kudos to Mr & Mrs Jones. Job Well done. God Bless you and all you stand for
What a wonderful way to celebrate America's homeless heroes! This festival had a lineup that will be hard to beat next year. The jazz was hot. The food was good. Although on a federal facility where alcohol could not be served, that was probably the only drawback to the day. The people were friendly. Parking was easy. I'd recommend this event in a heartbeat!
