This is one of the best locations to see a concert!!!! We went to the Katy Pery event last year to support Breast Cancer and this concert was over the top . OMG where can you see such power house singers in one evening. Everything about it was fantastic. Cant wait to see who will perform next year . Thank you Hollywood Bowl and all of the people that made this event so special.
Event was advertised with Taylor Swift as the headliner. She wasn't. In fact, she played fewer songs than the three acts she followed. It was very disappointing!! Pharrell was actually the headliner and they had significant technical difficulties during his performance that made the show drag. If you're going to this event in the future, make sure you like all the performers and that way you won't be disappointed when your favorite artist only makes an appearance. For the cost of the tickets, it's worth going to see so many artists and to benefit charity all in one night.
I really liked the variety of the lineup. Event was well paced, with adequate time to use the restroom periodically. Would have preferred a longer set for some of the later acts. Favorites were Lady Antebellum, Taylor, Sia and Pharrell. ** Venue: Overall it was pretty clean, didn't see much trash on the ground, staffing was good. Had positive interactions with all Hollywood Bowl staff. Event goers were well behaved too. Seating area was as expected, though the goodies left on the seats were a pleasant surprise. CBS and AMP Radio did a great job marketing the event appropriately throughout the venue. ** Transportation: Used the Shuttle / Park & Ride option, which was a great way to get to the bowl. Avoided traffic on the freeway and the tandem parking fiasco. Only draw back was leaving a bit early to make sure we made our bus on time. Bus was clean and not crowded. ** Food: Like any venue, not a great value. But the option to bring your own food is great. Alcohol was incredibly expensive, but I expected it. Just wish if they were charging $9 it was for a good beer and Sangria for $28 is absurd. **Dislikes: Leaving early to catch the bus home, costly food and beverage, late start compared to what was printed on tickets, no mention of fundraising amount for cancer (the event was supposed to be for charity, I'd like to know what was raised) **Likes: Ease of travel to and from the bowl, variety of performances, clean venue, polite staff,
It was like 6+ mini concerts at one time, great place to hear music!! great seat!!! great time with my daughter for a good cause!!
The entire concert was wonderful!!!! The light sticks that were provided made it really beautiful and the weather that night was PERFECT!!! It was a great evening!
The line up was great but it wasn't clear as to who was going to be the main performance. I was hoping to see more of Gwen stefani and Taylor Swift. I was sad when Gwen only came out for one song with Pharrell.

Of all the concerts I've been too, none has had such an amazing lineup of artists in one night for a charitable cause. I also sat in one of the box seats at the front at the Hollywood Bowl and the music was loud enough as if I were to a smaller venue, but with amazing bands and artists.
Amazing venue. The Hollywood Bowl staff really knows how to move their patrons to different areas of parking. Simply amazing how well organized it all was. The performances were top-notch!
The concert was great, sound was amazing as usual. With the bowl, acoustics are always spot on, and if it isn't raining being outside is amazing. Everything was pricey as it always is at concerts nowadays, but with the bowl we brought our own food and drinks so that is another reason to love going there. The performers were awesome, although kind of an eclectic lineup. But I like all kinds of music, so I liked everyone of the performers. I thought Taylor seemed a bit like eh, not real excited to be performing there but she was good. Alicia Keys we amazing, as was Lady A. Nobody was terrible, although there were technical equipment difficulties during the show for some performers. But they soldiered on, and did a great job regardless.
The line up for this concert was great! They sang just the right amount of songs and it was just an incredible evening. Great seats! Great night! Wish i could do it again.
Incredible experience to see all of these artists perform in one concert! Alicia Keys voice sounded awesome, despite her being so pregnant - super impressive pipes! Jennifer Lopez was a fun surprise and elevated Iggy's performance to the next level. I feel like Taylor Swift could have easily sung one or two more songs...we felt a bit gipped by her short set (shorter than the others). Ariana Grande was the same old, same old...not impressed at all. Lastly, Pharrell Williams ended the show with a bang! Not only were the fireworks a cool spectacle, the way he spoke and connected with the audience was fantastic! I went in as a PW fan and came away from the show as a Super-Fan! The best performer of the night, by far!
The All-star lineup was phenomenal! I felt like the event itself though was poorly managed. I didn't understand why artist that had collaborated together didn't do their songs together. There were also several technical difficulties during the show. AND WHAT HAPPENED TO GWEN?!! Why put her on the bill at all if she only made a tiny guest appearance? I bought the tickets under the notion that she was the headliner. Very disappointing!
From Sia to Paramore to to Taylor Swift to Lady Antebellum to Ariana Grande to Gwen Stephanie and so forth, man, this was the most exciting concert I have been to this year and possibly in my entire life. My heart was so happy from how wonderful LIVE everyone sounded. I wasn't a fan of Iggy but the performance with JLO is the only one I liked from her. Also, I wish Gwen Stephanie had her own set. I wish she wasn't just Pharrell special guest. The firework show at the end was so awesome and I love the fact that they gave everyone a pink bracelet and a light up Styrofoam stick to wave about lol. I will be back the next event if that line up is as good as this one was.
