Still the king of Zydeco! I’d go to all of his concerts, never gets old!
The old man has still got it!. Been watching him for years and the music is still great
My friends family and I have seen Wayne Toups over the last few years and this was an incredible show at a perfect venue. The new guitar player was a bonus as Wayne has top musicians and an incredible show. I did miss the fiddle player :-) Margaritaville is one of our favorite places to catch some good roots music.
Yep, he's still got It! The performance was high energy, and the band was excellent, too.
Concert was amazing. Wayne sounded great and the band was awesome. The venue was perfect it felt like we were at our own personal show.
Wayne Always puts on a Great show but it was hard Having to sit while he played. Need to be able to move while Wayne play! Will go to festivals to see Wayne from now on
It was awesome!!! Loved the concert and the casino. The hubs and I walked away with a nice stash!
Wayne Toups and his band mates are the bomb. Love zydeco music and you can't sit stilL.
If you like zydeco music you definitely need to see Wayne Toups!
The lineup was great! The only downside was the standing room only. I would attend it again.
Wayne Tours did a great job of getting some awesome performers. And to all the people backstage for all their hard work, thank you. The line up was great and we had a wonderful time and for a good cause. Love Acadiana and how they pull together. And to Don's Specialty Meats for contributing so much!
Well put together in a short time. Crowded - but in a very good manageable way. Entertainment was superb
The bands were great and minimal time between set-ups. But the no chair situation was horrible. We sat on the floor against a wall. I stood up when the bands were playing and sat in between. By the time Hunter Hayes came on, people began standing right in front of us and blocked our view. Then people began crowding the front area and wheelchairs couldn't pass; people had a hard time passing as well. It was for a great cause and raised a lot of money. It was in a nice place, inside. But chairs are a must! Some elderly people and some with canes had a hard time standing up the entire time; which was several hours. There was supposed to be food, but I couldn't find any. All in all, I had a good time. But we left during Hunter's set because people were going crazy and crowding in on us.
In many ways the event was well planned, in others....not so much. I understand that this was a benefit with many volunteering their time and musical talent, however I don't feel that much thought was given to the general crowd. We arrived at noon and stayed all day so it was a very long and tiring day with no place to sit. It is understandable that room was of the most importance, but the setup of the tables in the front of the stage took up more room than was needed and did not allow for any dance area. The auctioning time was excessively long, but did appear to generate a lot of money. I was not particularly fond of most of the bands, but again I know that you have to appeal to a diverse group. Hands down, I think Dustin Sonnier was the most entertaining and crowd pleasing in addition to Wayne Toups and Kix Brooks. I am a flood victim and I sincerely appreciate the efforts by so many. I give an honest review for future events.
Wayne was excellent, but there were no seats as promised.
Wayne Toups never fails to put on a great show! We danced the entire time!
I really enjoy the music from WT...!!! The L'auberge facility was ENTIRELY TOO SMALL for the VOLUME which the music played... The addition of John Jeansonne on fiddle (formerly fiddler for Rascal Flatts & a past La State Fiddle Champion) to Wayne Toups & ZyDeCAJUN WILL HAVE A YUUUGGGEEE POSITIVE IMPACT on an already great band...
went with several of my other half's coworkers & I ended up leaving the show engaged!
We've seen Wayne in concert several times but this was the first time at Paragon. It was one of the best I've been to. Great sound and they had a dance floor set up for everyone to dance.
Great show, everything I've heard was true. True performer, good luck at Grammy's
