We brought our two grandchildren with us to the game and had a wonderful time watching a very exciting game.
Not all gendors open on a Saturday afternoon so food/ drink lines were a bit long.
First time to a Washington Spirit game and we were quite impressed by the view of the field and feeling of closeness to the action. A definite repeat when it fits schedule and budget.
The venue was nice. Felt closer to the action. The athletes were very fan friendly. Great night
If they don’t win more games I will cry. Field was great, food was amazing, pretzels were hard but other then that good
Great soccer and fun. One thing: they need a bigger scoreboard, not tucked in the corner.
Had an awesome time as expected ^_____^ I'm a huge fan of soccer and women's sports and started following the U.S. Women's National Team at least a couple years ago! I've always been a D.C. sports fan and have loved every experience I've had here from the now 3 times I've been at Audi Field. The close-quarters of the stadium, including all the vendors & restrooms, definitely makes it easy to access all areas around the Field during the game :) I'm definitely in the spirit to see more of their games! ⚽️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️💨💨💨💨💨
What a cliffhanger the Spirit-Reign semifinal for the Challenge Cup was! A hard fought 0-0 draw between two highly skilled teams is never boring. And a ten round pk finish that our team won! Wow! The match would have been a total downer if a Reign pk had been given on the last play of the match — unless Aubrey Kingsbury had produce D yet another miracle.
Watching Washington Spirits game at Audi field has been THE BEST experience I had with live sports in DC area. The highest quality performance. They leave nothing in the tank. 90 minutes of excitement. Audi field is great. My family and I will definitely attend more Spirits games in the future. Thank you.
Game was amazing; team was super nice. Staff was pleasant; no parking at all had to park a few blocks away. They need a better system for getting everyone into the stadium. Compared to other games I’ve been to not a fan of this arena.
Went to a Washington Spirit Game - it was FANTASTIC! The team gives 100%. The fan base is a great mixture of all ages. Very Enthusiastic. Now that LA has a team they might have some serious competition 😎 Audi field is a really nice venue. I had great seats, great view of the play. Good screen on the end of the field for close-ups and replays. I definitely recommend supporting this team and enjoying the venue while doing it.
The championship ring celebration was amazing!!! Not only was it a world class soccer game but the mayor of DC gave a speech, the new majority female owner was introduced and the team received their badass championship rings!!! AND Ella Mai performed at the end of the game. Like a legit full on concert. Best time ever. But honestly Spirit games never disappoint. And I’ve been a supporter since they played up in Germantown. Go Spirit!
The atmosphere was terrific and the play on the field was the same. I can’t imagine there being a bad seat at Audi field. For womens events more concessions should be open it lacked variety.
Except for the unexpectedly windy and frigid weather, the Spirit's match with the Orlando Pride on Sunday, April 3 was an all-around winning experience. The stadium was great, the crowd very well behaved, and the Spirit played like the Champs they are ... with gusto and flair! If only Audi Field had parking! Using a parking app was pricey, but all in all the team made it a win-win experience.
Sad it was a tie but the technique is 👌 I loved watching the play and got season tickets after attending this game. Let’s go spirit!
They play was incredible. Sanchez literally broke one of the best defender’s (Ali Krieger’s) ankles. She was tearing up the turf. Turf. Turf that belongs to a high school or a community college at best. The locker rooms, bathrooms, and box office operated out of shipping containers. This is an embarrassment for any professional team, let alone the reigning NWSL champions. This was my first time out at Segra Field in Leesburg, VA and I was sorely disappointed. If you live in DC and want to watch your team play at “home”, you have to travel over an hour via public transportation and over 3 hours if it’s an off peak hour. This is completely unacceptable. Do better.
The action on the field was tremendous as usual, but that surface looks far and away the worst in the league. Just criminal. Food vendors running out of most items before halftime didn’t add to the experience. Aside from the lower cost, and convenience for those of us from the western suburbs, it’s a poor substitute for Audi field or even the SoccerPlex.
An awesome experience for myself and my daughter. Parking could have been swifter, but otherwise a perfect atmosphere.
Great place! Parking was easy and only $8. Good food and cheap! Great game!
