BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Baltimore, MD-born Warren Wolf began playing the vibraphone, marimba, piano, and drums at age three under the tutelage of his musician father. Fantastic venue, regardless where you are seated. Sound even pumped into the restrooms, so you wont miss a beat. Staff was attentive, efficient and friendly. Warren Wolf know his stuff, thoroughly enjoyed his music and that of his ensemble. My wife and I will definitely be attending more shows at this venue!

Warren Wolf on vibes with a solid backup of longtime buddies on bass and drums and the incomparable Benny Green on piano provided a magnificent evening of music. The group looks good, sounds amazing and kept up a vibrant, energetic pace while adding in some stunning ballads to round out a perfect evening. Highly recommended!

  • Warren Wolfe Wowed!

I'd never heard of Warren Wolfe before; what a wonderful surprise! Wolfe was personable but clearly focused on his music. He offered little chatter between songs or sets, so the evening was filled with music; I liked that! The evening offered a good mix of songs by known composers and originals Wolfe composed.

Really great. Warren is the latest in the vibraphone legacy and a massive talent. Huge thanks to the Virginia Arts festival and Rob Cross for bringing Warren here. John Toomey's trio was equally impressive. Excellent evening.

The show was great, the music superb, some of the best musicians in the world. Please do more shows like this. My only reason for a 4 star is because it was so hot in the room. The weather had been cold but it was so hot, and the musicians were sweating, me too. They should have turned on the AC for 5 minutes to get the the room comfortable. I have been to all the Attucks Jazz concerts. Please do more.
