  • Wang Chung and The Fixx both put on a great show.

    by Hank698 on 8/2/13Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater/Expo Center - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

Wang Chung just simply walked onto the stage, chatted a bit and then blew us away for 45 minutes with both old and new songs. They were incredible and wish they would have played longer (I believe they wanted to play longer as well) The Fixx came on about 9:00 and played for just about two hours. Again a mix of old and new songs. They were awesome as well. Great Music by Great Musicians and the kicker...seats were only $10.00.

  • This show was so much fun!!!

by VickiRedGuitarGirl on 7/25/13Resorts Casino Hotel - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was intimate, and the band had a real connection with their fans. Communicating with humor and changing the set list spontaneously based on fans' feedback, Wang Chung showed real class and energy on stage. They were constantly engaging the audience and encouraging them to leave their seats behind to get up and dance, which they did with great enthusiasm. My only complaint is that the show should have gone on longer. This stop on their tour (Atlantic City) also featured Naked Eyes on the bill. They were the opening band and showed just as much enthusiasm, humor, and responsiveness to the fans as the "Chungers" did. Front man, Pete Byrne going to far as to invite an eager fan to sing and dance with him on stage. It was an absolutely great evening and an unforgettable celebration of the 80's. There were new songs played as well, showing that these bands are alive and well and bursting with creative energy. This show is a must-see.

  • Loved it!

I wasn't sure what to expect but I have to say they've still got it! Naked Eyes was just the lead singer but he sounded great acoustic. Wang Chung played a few new songs that I had never heard before and they were ok but the classics were great. The venue was very small and intimate but a little on the hot side. I would definitely recommend both bands to any fan of 80's music.

  • Wang Chung made everyone have fun tonight!!!

    by Shap1 on 6/28/10Magic Bag - FerndaleRating: 5 out of 5

Even though the crowd was not very large the band played as if there were thousands in attendance. They played their hits and a number of new songs that sounded great. It looked like Jack and Nick were having a great time and the Magic Bag in Ferndale is always a great place to see a show.

  • El Stinko!!!

by cafinfan on 6/14/10Galaxy Theatre - Santa AnaRating: 1 out of 5

I saw them on tour in 1984 and they were great! My girlfriend loved them and we started buying there albums. So we were pleasantly surprised to see them on tour this year and snapped up a pair of tickets. To be fair they are probably nice guys but they stink. We saw them at a dive theatre in LA and the sound was horrible. They played five songs from the past and acoustically butchered To live and die in LA. They saved Everyone Wang Chung tonite for there encore and it was anticlimactic. It was a total bummer. I hate to do this to them but the show needs more professionalism. They are no better than a garage band now.
