Don't miss Broadway's sensational musical, Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story... the man, the music, the legend. Buddy Holly was a brilliant musician who changed the face of popular music and paved the way for the next generation of rock'n'rollers. Follow Buddy's meteoric rise to fame, from his humble country music roots to the top of the record charts and his untimely death in 1959. You'll be cheering for more, with such rousing fifties favorites as "Peggy Sue," "Oh Boy," "Maybe Baby," "That'll Be the Day," "Raining In My Heart," Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba" and the Big Bopper's "Chantilly Lace." This joyous celebration of a musical legend has been seen by more than 20 million people across the globe. Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story will have you rockin' in the aisles!
My Family and I had a excellent time. The show was great. Would recommend highly.
The actors & the musicians were excellent. The play brought back many memories for me, especially of listening to great rock-and-roll & dancing to it.
high energy wonderful music, a fantastic experience
The best show ever. Will go see it again. Saw it for the first time 12 years ago. Better than Jersey Boys.
"The Buddy Holly Story" was outstanding. My wife and I see shows in NYC twice a year, and this show was as good as anything in the theater district in Manhattan. I compare it in quality to "The Jersey Boys" and "The Million Dollar Quartet" in NYC
I saw this at the Walnut Theater on Sunday and I LOVED it! Great story and of course, great music! I've never been a part of an audience that was so enthusiastic (dancing in the aisles, jumping to their feet, sustained clapping after the curtain closed)! The entire cast was outstanding; Christopher Sutton entranced me with his portrayal of Buddy. Will another cast's production stand up to this one? Can't wait to find out!!
