The Patsy Cline show was just fabulous!! We enjoyed it from start to finish!
Lots of singing, but weak story line, absent sets and minimal costuming. You would be better of to put on “ the real “ Patsy and invest in a nice Libation of your choice. I know, I will be cautious of upcoming shows that are of similar style.
Haven’t seen a show since March 2019. I came out to see this one - my first since COVID! Amazing show that included all the Patsy Cline songs I grew up with - precious memories!
Did not expect the lead performer to sound so much like Patsy, but she did.
Everything about the show was great! I really loved it and hope to see it again before it ends!
Excellent show, with great singers and band that truly kept your attention through the entire presentation and sometimes gave you the chills or a teary-eye! A must see show!
Grest show The songs, set design everything was amazing! The cast was fantastic.
Really enjoyed the show. The songs, the singing, and the story were great.
Historic and beautiful Walnut Theater makes for quite a venue. Performances of the cast were incredibly enjoyed. Looking forward to going back to another show.
The singer/actress who played the role of Patsy Cline could not have sounded more like her. She was terrific. The interplay between Patsy and Louise was also excellent.
First time visiting the walnut st theater was a great experience. Seats were very comfortable , could see entire stage. Sound system was also great . Drinks was a little pricey but all in all the theater experience was a great one. Thanks to all & will definitely return again. Thank you
I am not a country music lover but have always loved Patsy Cline’s voice. When I decided to buy a ticket I did not expect to see the dynamite show I did. It was a totally entertaining evening. I have told so many people to see it before it is gone.
Very enjoyable and entertaining show. The cast was awesome.
I took my friend to the Patsy Cline Forever show as a birthday gift. He and I both loved everything about the show. Both actresses were captivating and engaging. The story line was fun and informative and we were both taken in by its charm. I'd recommend it to anyone!
Loved the set design and interaction with the crowd! Actresses were well suited to roles! Singing was phenomenal! Would see again!
I came to see this show for research as I will be performing the role of Louise in the fall. I had no idea what to expect and fell in love with the show and these performers. I got to meet the girls after as well, and they are just as personable off stage as they are on stage. Simply wonderful! Go see them before it's over.
The snippets from her life and how she related to fans were new to me. The music was well-done and in an intimate venue. A nice ttreat.
This show was fun, entertaining, and high energy. We had an absolutely great time. I highly recommend it!
Performance was extraordinary and throughly entertaining. I can't remember when I enjoyed a performance more. I would recommend it to all age groups.
We went to see Always...Patsy Cline last weekend and it was fantastic. We loved the small venue. And the performances were outstanding. We were enraptured with the musical numbers. The lead sounded exactly like Patsy Cline. The "side kick" actress who played Patsy's friend, Lorraine, was wonderful. She was so funny and really had the audience so engaged with her humor and her story telling, and, at the end, with her love for Patsy and her emotion. The staging was really great (with Lorraine's kitchen and Patsy's stage). All the way around it was an absolutely wonderful show. As an aside, when we got home, we looked up the lead (Jenny Lee Stern) on the internet and saw other shows that she has been in. She has such an outstanding voice and style, we would definitely go see any show with her in it. Thanks to the Walnut Street Theater for offering such a great evening of music, laughter, and even some tears.
