9 to 5: The Musical is the hilarious new Broadway musical based on the blockbuster film. Pushed to the boiling point by their boss, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical boss. They conspire to take control of their company and learn there's nothing they can't do, even in a man's world! Set in the late 1970s, 9 to 5: The Musical is a story of friendship and getting ahead in the Rolodex era. Outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic, 9 to 5: The Musical features Dolly Parton's original hit title song along with her new Tony Award and Grammy-nominated score, including "Backwoods Barbie" and "Shine Like the Sun."

    I can't fault the cast, because I have the feeling that this is just a weak show. My wife and I have never been disappointed by any thing we saw at the Walnut, in fact we have seen several productions that surpassed the original broadway productions. " 9 to 5 " was easily the worst stage production we have ever witnessed. We left at intermission, something we have never done before. We feel confident the Mary Poppins will more than make up for this disaster.

    Nine to Five was a powerful and amusing play!

    Nine to Five was a fun, amusing, and an entertaining play. Particularly for one who did her share of office work in the late 80's and 90's (not much different from the late 70's whatsoever!) The scenery was perfectly depicted, the characters were dynamic, and the voices of the singers were beautiful.

    Had a wonderful experience. Show was great, WST lovely and seats were comfortable. Also, had a great experience with customer service from the theater. Overall, it was great.

    The cast was outstanding. Very high level of talent, and great voices. Definitely Broadway caliber show. What a great evening! Don't miss out on this one.

    Uplifting and exhilarating

    9 to 5 was a blast from the past from someone who has not seen the movie in 30 years. The cast, the clothes, the hair styles and the set brought it all back, and more. The music was good and the lyrics even better.
