Wale on Tour
There's only one Wale. Since arriving in 2006, he has consistently gone against the grain. Expanding his cultural influence, Wale teamed up with Villa for a limited-edition line of sneakers. These included the Asics "Bottle Rocket," the Timberland "Gift Box Set" and the VILLA x Wale x ASIC Gel Lyte III "IC Champion." First time @ The Rooftop at Pier 17...first off, outside installation in front of the venue was fire, the venue itself...love, rooftop view...spacious, back drop of the stage is a view of the Brooklyn Bridge, Currensy & Joey Bada$$ were the opening acts...both killed it, Wale shut it down...and I'm not the biggest Wale fan...definitely way worth the $13 I paid for tix

I enjoyed myself so much, I love him and this tour he just finished was EVERYTHANG. I wish he would do a Part 2 when he comes back. Both the L.A. and San Diego shows he did was amazing!!!
Wale always puts on a show. He even brought out Rick Ross for a couple songs.
For this to be my first concert, I had a great time. The only thing wouldâve made this concert âperfectâ is if the venue had amaretto sours. Other than that, I still enjoyed the friendly workers at the venue and the concert.
Sound was amazing, no line at the gate. Easy access. Good show overall.
I loved the show, every year I get to see Wale and due to the pandemic it has been 2 years. He brought the heat! It was so lit. I had a great time. I cant wait until he does another show, even though he claims he is done. The bartender I had was pretty good too, the pink drink was so good! I love Wale!!
Wale has one of the best concerts, definitely will go to another concert of his.
Went to the first date of the tour in Philly, PA and the last tour date in Silver Spring, MD. This is my 3rd time seeing Wale at this Fillmore location. I had a problem seeing in my handicap seats because people standing where they shouldn't be. People kept coming up behind us as well and the staff would say something to them. In my opinion, the staff needs to remain in their positions throughout the show. Next time I will come 2 hours before showtime. Wale is always amazing! He changed the songs positions from the first tour until the last. He did so many songs that I never seen him do including Beautiful Bliss and Sabatage. He has 7 studio albums so his song selections are crazy. He has hit after hit even the song off his mixtapes including The Breakup Song. The crowd went crazy when he did the DC GoGo song selections especially Nike Boots. I love that he allowed Tre to perform more than 1 song at the last show. Then let Philly's own Young Gunners perform as well. I love that Wale is finally getting the recognition that he deserves. He needs a 2 hour set next time. He's an amazing performer with great stage presence. I love the fact that he perform his songs without music and slow downs his raps for the audience.
Overall the concert was great, Wale gave an amazing show! The venue was good, I was in VIP. I would go to another concert here despite the parking and trafficâŠget there early!
Iâm sad that heâs taking a break. The show was amazing and I did not want it to end!
It was my first time at the fillmore and seeing Wale. The atmosphere and everything was cool.
The whole vibe was amazing at the concert! From the opening acts all the way to WALE! It was an entire vibe! I went solo and enjoyed every minute of it!
We need more shows like this! The space was just the right amount of space and his performance was great!
When I say I want to see him in concert again from stage presence from his energy he really made my night.
From start to finish is was amazing. My favorite part was when Wale gave the guy in front two roses to give to his girl. It was beautiful. The songs they did was perfect. The whole team did a great good.
I did not want it to end! My only problem with it is it wasnât long enough for me and most of the song on his new album wasnât performed. Other than that AMAZING SHOW! Loved it and Love WALE.
I have been a awake fan since before he was recognized mainstream⊠his music is timeless and his flow is so effortless. I love watching him perform because he really puts on a show!!! I love you Wale!!! #HamptonPirates
I'm a fan. Was not disappointed. Tge opening acts where great. Wale was AMAZING!!!!! The special guest appearance was awesome.
