vya Tickets

vya is a Female Fronted Progressive Metal band based out of New York City/North NJ. vya started in March of 2023 and played their first show on May 10th at Dingbatz, opening for Adelita’s Way. Since then vya has played close to 40 shows in the North NJ and NYC area. Some other highlights include opening for Invent Animate, Void of Vision, Thrown and Aviana at The Brooklyn Monarch on 10/3/23, opening for Monuments, For The Fallen Dreams and Vrsty at Dingbatz on 10/12/23 and opening for Deadlands at Dingbatz on February 3rd. vya's next big show is opening for Greylotus and Sarah Longfield at The Kingsland in Brooklyn on June 23rd.

vya released their debut single “meanwhile” on September 29th. "Lips on a Blade", the first single from their upcoming debut full length record, will be released on May 3rd. vya’s sound can be described as an intricate blend of complicated progressive metal grooves/riffs with catchy, whimsical and powerful female vocals often found in rock/pop music with occasional screaming and lots of overall dynamic moments.
