  • AWESOME!!!

by DaveinNYC on 3/22/13B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Vonda's voice is like silky-whiskey. Awesome show!

  • Wonderful show as always

by NyLaw on 6/12/12B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Vonda connects so wonderfully with the audience. From moving compositions like Soothe Me, to the cover rockers Every Natural Thing and Sweet Inspiration, Vonda never ceases to amaze. Her intimate rapport with the audience and fans always makes for a memorable evening.

  • Vonda was great! BB King's not so much....

by BobB8 on 9/18/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Went to see Vonda for my birthday. Flew in for the show. Highly recommend a Vonda show. Unfortunately, BB King's GAVE AWAY MY SEATS (Section - BTH27 , Row - 1, Seats 1-4). And they couldn't kick the interlopers out because they were Vonda's family!! They did find us some seats elsewhere and offered seats at another show - useless to us because we live out of town. Anyway, other than that, the show was great and we ended up meeting Vonda & her Dad and they were charming. Still not happy with BB's.

  • Nice show by Vonda

by MAB3 on 9/18/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Vonda was very good as usual. Nice to see her in a small intimate venue. Great rapport with the audience. Would have liked her to sing more of her old favorites instead of so many of her new songs that I did not really know. Only downside was the opening act...terrible...Vonda you don't need an opening act!

  • Soulful voice/Charming lady

by MimiLouise on 9/17/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

We really enjoyed seeing Vonda Shepard at BB Kings in NYC. She was so full of energy and really connects to her audience. Having seen her perform years ago when her opening act was the as-yet-unknown Sugarland, we were eager to listen to her wonderful soulful voice again. Vonda still looks fabulous all these many years later and has boundless enthusiasm. She seemed a bit scattered once or twice and forgot her place with some lyrics, but her good humor made us forget immediately tthereafter.

  • Phenomenal Show!

by NyLaw on 9/17/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Vonda was simply amazing. Her voice is beautiful and the skill and passion she brings to her singing and playing make for a wonderful experience. The set was a great mix of rockers, covers and her moving ballads. As other reviewers have said, the intimate club setting makes it seem like she's there in your living room, and meeting her after the show, she exhibited that same warmth and approachability.

  • Phenomenal Show

by NyLaw on 9/16/11B.B. King Blues Club - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Vonda was simply amazing! She sings with a passion and power that could fill an arena, but that is made almost personal in the intimate club setting. Her skill as both a vocalist and musician make her one of the finest live performers you can see and her interraction with the audience and her approachablity at the post-show CD signing were the icing on the cake.

Vonda was great! Sang some of her old stuff and a lot of her new songs. Very enjoyable!

As always Vonda Sheard did not disappoint. The club setting really makes the show personal and so much fun. We can't wait for her to come back again!
