Danish metal fusion act Volbeat has grown from a well-known regional band in Scandinavia to an international touring outfit sharing the bill with music giants Megadeth and Metallica. The four-piece group mixes metal, hard rock and a touch of punk with rock and roll inspiration from icons like Elvis, creating a well-liked combination that easily sells tickets. And when the Northern European performers aren’t in the recording studio, they’re tackling headlining concerts and taking part in the international festival circuit. Volbeat’s nearly decade-long discography boasts five studio albums, all of which have achieved at least gold status in their native Denmark. The band’s 2013 effort, “Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies,” marked the first collection to chart in the U.S. That set, which former Anthrax guitarist and new Volbeat member Robert Caggiano co-produced, made it to the top of Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart.

Excellent show. Both Volbeat and Halestorm were amazing. Venue was great too!
Wow … have to say my man Flemming Lund surely did not disappoint.. I was worried about the the show and was worried about the solos being that Rob was a master to say the least. My man Flemming hung with the best, I don’t believe he missed a note and that’s coming from a fellow musician. I’m so happy for the band to be able to carry on and it’s sad to see the demise of bands you like with internal drama. If it’s not broke, don’t try to fix it… Fleming gets the cigar he’ was able to pull off the licks.. Your the best and hope to see more of you.. keep it heavy and rocking ..
Would have preferred a larger venue. Lots of people crammed on top of each other in the mosh pit. Also would have preferred seats during intermission without being at the very back of the theater. No regrets; Volbeat makes it worth the inconvenience.
Penn National in PA. is the worst venue I have ever attended. I expected to be outside but every venue I've been at outside has a canopy covering of some sort. All seats are on level ground rather than sloped. I couldn't see the stage. Sections are not marked. There were no regular toilet facilities. Many vendors do not accept cash, and I'm not paying 25% interest on a hot dog and coke. I will never attend this venue again regardless of who would be the performer.
This was one of the best concerts I've been to recently. Halestorm rocked as always and Volbeat, what can I say not even the rain could dampen the show it was simple amazing.
Absolutely Amazing Concert! Totally worth standing in down pouring rain and would do it again.
Great venue! Outside, free parking and very good sight lines to the stage! Volbeat put on a great show, as usual.
Volbeat is worth going to see! We have seen them 13 times and they are always amazing every single time. They never let me down. They are incredible.
Went to see Volbeat and Halestorm great show and seats they only thing that sucked Mother Nature thought we needed a heavy rain around 9:15 but rain ponchos we’re handed out and they played till 10:00…. Smooth drive out of the parking lot with police directing traffic would definitely go again… get Five Finger Death Punch next year please 😊😊
Third time is the charm!! I was supposed to see Volbeat twice before, but Covid cancelled on concert and complications caused me to miss another. The band did not disappoint despite Michael being under the weather. The venue leaves a little to be desired. One merch stand and one concession stand open on the main level made for some long lines, and it caused us to miss the first half of Halestorm’s opening, but otherwise it was a great show!!
Despite the rain both Halestrom and Volbeat did NOT disappoint!!!
Great show, other than it pouring down rain... but that's out of their control... put on a great show and I had a blast, even being soaked
The music continues to be amazing. It rained at mine but it made the experience 10x more memorable. Came back out for a 5 song encore. Definitely care tremendously about their fans!
Ease of access and departure was excellent. It pouring down rain but didn’t care. Had a great time and would do it again!
Attended the Volbeat show at the Grantville, PA outdoor venue. They were awesome! Great sound, great crowd interaction, and they delivered! Loved every minute of it. Thank you Volbeat!
I had a blast! Even with the rain it still didn't ruin a single moment. Only thing I would have changed I that the meet and greet fans should have been the first to get to the seats, esp the ones that paid for the pit tickets, but we weren't! By the time we got out of the meet and greet the whole front row of the pit was already taken up by Halestorm fans when they were just the openers, not the headline band. Was a bit of a bummer to see that.
The event was great! Halestorm quickly prepared the crowd for Volbeat. Great venue! Love outdoor summer concerts!
This was a fun show, they interacted with the audience. They sounded amazing! Would go see them again.
Poured down rain. It was an amazing show... Glad they didn't stop it due to weather!!!
