Extremely entertaining for any age group. Lots of great talent, and I love that they featured a high school group as their opener!

    Vocalosity is amazing!

    by Sapphire111 on 3/8/16Carolina Theatre - Durham

Vocalosity was such an amazing show! Their talent still has me in awwe! This show is great for many age ranges. I was able to share this event with people of ages 12-53. We all loved it and continue to talk about it! I can't wait to see them again!

    Phenomenal!

by CinLaw on 2/29/16Carolina Theatre - Durham

Vocalosity was truly amazing! The singers could do such incredible things with their voices, and were real people who were clearly having fun. They did awesome acapella arrangements of familiar songs, often with "sets" from different bands (Beatles) or music genres (Motown, rock). I thought the show would make for a fun evening, and it exceeded my expectations. My entire family LOVED it!

One of the best shows I have seen in a long time. Incredible vocals, staging, energy, joy, and fun! I took my husband, 12 year old daughter, and her friend. ALL of us loved it.

    Vocalosity can bring it

by MarkSofHS on 2/29/16Carolina Theatre - Durham

The show was fun, clean, and well-done. They have so many talented singers. While the first "act" was great, the second "act" was amazing. We went from full belly laughs to tears and back to joy again. Thanks, Vocalosity, for showing us that music is the language of happiness, and that when used properly, it can lift like nothing else.

    A Mediorce Event

by PhDseeker on 2/20/16Kuss Auditorium at Clark State Performing Arts Center - Springfield

The venue was quite impressive, but the show held only a few memorable moments. The sound was not the best and some performers sounding like they were screaming through the show. One of the overhead lights onstage kept panning forward right to our section and we had to cover our eyes it was so bright. It was like an eye doctor shining 1000 lights into your eyes. The show has potential, but most of the time it appeared as though 12 people had just met and began singing together. We could not feel the connection between them, albeit there were some moments that worked. A Cappella groups usually have a "story" behind their creation and they have been together for a while. One of the volunteer ushers talked to my husband like he was a small child (she had short hair) and basically snarled at us at after we tired to get out of her way when she was seating guests. I could not see her name on her name tag or would I have reported her nasty attitude and rude behavior. She should volunteer to stay home in the future.

Vocalosity: Have to see it (hear it) to believe it

by CoupleinSPFLD on 2/15/16Kuss Auditorium at Clark State Performing Arts Center - Springfield

This is a ridiculously talented group, with a whole lot of heart! My wife and I attended the show in Springfield, Ohio over Valentine's Day weekend. With every single song, they upped the ante. The vocals were incredible. In the first half, walk through the history of acapella with clever arrangements of classic Beatles songs. Experience an affecting and beautiful rendition of Hallelujah. The Motown selections and Shut Up and Dance are other highlights from Act 1. When we reached intermission, we thought we'd mostly seen what the group had to offer... but then came a show-stopping rendition of Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love. Simply incredible. During this song and others, the vocal percussion/beat boxing is on display here unlike any other show, and it is amazing. Expect a heartfelt connection with the performers toward the end when individual performers briefly share their story, including specifically chosen songs. And, in the end, they literally drop the mics... singing to the crows without modern amplification.

What an awesome show!!! Lots of fun and loved the variety of songs and personal stories from some of the group. Could have done without the audience participation song, seemed like a filler, to me,

    Vocalosity was fine.

by DesMoinesMattK on 1/27/16Des Moines Performing Arts - Civic Center - Des Moines

The members of Vocalosity are incredibly talented. There's no dispute there. The song choice was also well chosen, covering a fairly wide range of music. However, the cheese factor was simply too high. It felt like an acapella show from 10 years ago. Acapella music has evolved past the cheese. Groups like Pentatonix have taken acapella away from the dorky and into something hip. The show was overly theatrical for my tastes, and the humor inspired more eye-rolls than laughs. It was at its best when the members were allowed to just SING, which they all were excellent at.

This group has a lot of energy. The show got better as the night went on. With a little more polish this will be a great show. For the price it is worth going if you enjoy acapella music.

    Vocalosity

by stevek48 on 1/20/16Parker Playhouse - Ft Lauderdale

These people were absolutely fantastic. Super energy, amazing voices and it sounded as if they had a 10 piece band behind them when, in fact, they were making all the musical sounds themselves! Highly recommend them. A MUST see!!
