One of the fastest emerging contemporary jazz recording artists in recent history, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, Vincent Ingala has blasted into an exciting stratosphere of his own making since his 2010 critically acclaimed debut album, North End Soul. Still in his twenties, the charismatic saxophonist has been named Billboard Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year in 2012, Sirius XM Watercolors Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2013, and his music is consistently found atop the most noteworthy music charts in the world, including four number one hits on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Chart, and ten singles in the Billboard Smooth Jazz Top 10. As much of an entertainer as he is a musician, the Yamaha Performing Artist has been wowing live audiences as a regular on the popular smooth jazz festival and cruise circuit for several years. His versatility on multiple instruments makes him sought after both live, and as a producer in the studio.

The young man has a tremendous amount of talent and really know how to put on a show. The only disappointment was that it was not a sold out house - the crowd was good but way too small. The venue has great acoustics and comfortable seats. It is a shame so many people missed this.
Great venue for jazz! Loved my first visit. Interaction with management was great! Looking forward to David Sanborn in November.
It was our 1st time at the Attucks Theater and what a treat it was for us. The show - The Church Street Jazz featuring Vincent Ingala - was fabulous. The venue staff were friendly, parking was easy, and the theater was the perfect, intimate venue for watching a top line jazz performance. We’ll be back for more!
Horn player, guitar player, and vocalist! He tore it up!
What a showman. Very professional and well enjoyed by all. Next time I'll get seats downstairs where there is more leg room or in the balcony boxes.
If you missed this one, you missed the best concert of all! They rocked the house! Michael Manson brought an upbeat attitude and great skills on the bass, and Vinny Ingala demonstrated his versatility not only on the sax, but on guitar and vocals as well - he took us back to our youth with some great rocking songs, and helped showcase the group of excellent back-up musicians.
