Really great time. I never saw a Motley Crue concert and this made it possible.
Terrific performance and great music. Vince clearly works hard to see that the audience is having a great time. If you get a chance GO!
Great show! So glad he focused on Crue song songs!! Front row, touched him, what more could you want!?
After suffering thru two unknown bands, Vince finally got on stage. He played three songs and left. My wife and I suffered thru three more unknown songs and we finally left to go to dinner.
I caught Vince and his band in Denver last night. It was a wonderful show! Vince played for about an hour and a half and did a set that was mostly Motley Crue classics. He started off the set with Live Wire and did other faves we all love such as Wild Side, Kickstart My Heart, Girls, Girls, Girls, and a wonderful version of Home Sweet Home. I really enjoyed when they played Piece of Your Action, and it was cool Vince actually remembered the lyrics! The only solo song he did was Tattoos and Tequila. The band Vince has for this tour is fantastic! Especially the drummer who reminded me a lot of Tommy Lee. It was also really cool to get up close to Vince. Brought back memories of seeing the Crue on the Shout at the Devil tour in 84 when I had front row! I was a little disappointed in one part of the set. Vince left the stage for almost 15 minutes while the band played a cover of Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell and then a medley of Led Zeppelin songs. They were really good, don't get me wrong, but I wanted to see Vince, not hear covers of other bands.
Just saw Vince's show Thursday 11/17 just outside of Boston. He was on his game, his voice was clear and he was loud. He owned the stage as I have seen in my 25+ occasions, many of them front row, seeing him solo or with the Crue. Looked to me like he was having a great time too. Only played 8 songs but the selection was solid and he rocked every one of them BIG TIME!!! I'll never miss a show when he is on stage. Best hard rock front man to take the stage!!!
I am unfamiliar with Vince Neil and his songs, but was excited to attend the concert which was to start at 8pm. It didn't start until 10 or 15 after,...after what appeared to be sound checks & final stage set-up preparations. As music professionals, this should have been completed before any of the audience was admitted. They played to maybe 9pm.,...this is absolutely the shortest concert I have ever paid money to attend. And no encore?? This may have been a good band, but not good enough to just walk out without an encore! There was also an issue with whomever was running the sound system. Vince Neil's microphone had nowhere near the volume as the others' in the band and this made it difficult to impossible to hear him throughout the entire performance. Most of the time, I couldn't hear him above the guitars. They were all excellent musicians, I'm sure, but I certainly would not recommend this concert.
Neil was sick but still rocked it out; give props to his band too who were equally awesome in their own right. Cover of some Led Zepplin that was spot on to do Robert Plant and crew proud. Having seats 5 rows from the stage helped! :)
We had a Rockin Good time. the venue was awsome. Lots of fun. Good Jod Vince...
Slaughter was ok...the base drum and guitar over shadowed the lead singer... Great White rocked...would see them again... Vince Neil sucked and I'm a big fan. He said he lost his voice three days ago. His microphone didn't work most of the show. He forgot a lot of the words to the songs. Zoltan the drummer kicked a$$...he saved the show for Vince Neil.
Played for about an hour and a half with about 1/3 of that time off stage. He apologized to the audience on the onset that he blew out his voice a few days ago so I guess that gave him a pass for the night. I was not impressed. They also had alot of sound difficulties which I'm not sure weren't more about his voice than the equipment. Paying what we did for the tickets, we didn't get our monies worth. I would not recommend his show to anyone.
not bad-vince had a lot of energy and his voice was good. great white was awesome-missed having jack russell. slaughter-what happened to your voice? I was so looking forward to slaughter, and was never more disappointed in a concert.
Didn't see Slaughter, was really disappointed that Jack Russell was not singing for Great White, but had a good laugh at the guy that tried to fill his shoes. Kinda hard for a Latin man to sing hard rock & blues. Felt bad for Vince cuz his voice was blown, he really tried though and we still had a pretty good time.
Vince is always a great entertainer and performs with a smile. He did a great job as well as the rest of his band. Anyone who discounts the value of seeing him without the rest of Motley Crue is a fool.
Vince is "the MAN!" He rocks....always has always will!!!!!!!! I liked the new stuff as well as the Crue stuff........it was all great! Great White not that great without Jack Russell but ok. Slaughter ROCKED too! He can still hit the high notes! LOVED IT!!!! I was actually surprised to see so few people at the concert........it was AWESOME!!!!!!! I loved it!
As a long time Motley fan, i happen to catch Vince's solo band because the timing of the event was right. I'm so I glad I did! This maybe the best ROCK show I've seen in 10 years. Zoltan Chaney is completely "off the hook", he stole the show! Vince has been blessed having Tommy on drums and Zoltan was no different. The band was very high energy and I cant wait to see them again.
Vince and his band put on an awesome show but only played 1 hr and 10min with no encore. I really wish he would have done a meet and greet with his fans but you can't have everything. Overall the show was wonderful and it will be a special memory to me always. Vince ROCKS!
The band came on late and only played one hour with no encore. Who does that? Vince would disappear off stage every few minutes and at one time was gone for close to 15 minutes. It was NOT worth the money. I was so disappointed in Vince, but I do have to say the drummer was AMAZING. The drummer was the only highlight of the whole show.
Vince kicked ass and stole the show! As always a show stopping performance from everyone!
