Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Vince Gill has become one of the most celebrated country artists of all-time, selling over 24 million albums throughout his career and winning 20 Grammy Awards, more than any other male country artist in history. In 2013, he played for ticket holders in concert across North America and the U.K. and is scheduled to tour with George Strait in 2014. Born in 1957 in Oklahoma, he learned how to play several instruments including banjo and guitar as a child and played in a bluegrass band in high school. He joined the country band Pure Prairie League in the late 1970s before leaving the group in 1982 to pursue his solo career. He put out four solo albums in the 1980s, including 1984’s Turn Me Loose and 1989’s When I Call Your Name, before releasing the double platinum 1991 album Pocket Full of Gold. His next album, 1992’s I Still Believe in You, reached No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and sold over three million copies with hit singles “What the Cowgirls Do” and “Whenever You Come Around.” Gill’s 1993 Christmas album Let There Be Peace on Earth also went platinum, and 1994’s When Love Finds You peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard chart, his most successful album selling over four million copies. More commercial and critical success followed with 1996’s High Lonesome Sound and 1998’s The Key, and his next five solo albums reached the country top five, including 2000’s Let's Make Sure We Kiss Goodbye and 2006’s These Days. The Country Music Association has bestowed Gill with a total of 18 CMA Awards including two Entertainer of the Year awards and five Male Vocalist Awards, and in 2007, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Vince gives the best shows. His music is fantastic. He's the best guitar player in country music today. Also enjoy his stories about past experiences and his family. He is just the greatest!
There was no opening act. The show was supposed to start at 8:00 p.m. and it started on time with Vince Gill. He played until 10:40 with no breaks. He interacted with the audience and played the entire time. I've never been to a concert that was so casual and comfortable. I got more than my monies worth for that concert. I'd see him again.
Vince Gill performed for two and a half hours and was just wonderful. His storytelling in between songs was warm, interesting, and fun. It was a great night and we will definitely go to hear him again.

I have now seen Vince Gill five times in concert. I've never been disappointed and continue to be amazed at his talent. He is truly an entertainer, not just a singer or performer. Many others can learn from him. When is his next show in New England?
I am a huge Vince Gill fan and love to imitate his singing when given the chance but I just cannot believe what a great talent he is. His songs and the way he delivers them are spot-on everytime. Our seats at the venue were to the left side of the stage and we were concerned prior to concert time that the protective railing from the lower section was going to hamper our view. While it did affect part of the stage we were pleased when we could see as well as we did.
Vince, who was relaxed in jeans, tee shirt, and loafers never disappointed the audience. It was an amazing display of musical talent from the entire band, but the vocals by Vince were pure honey. This is an amazing band. I had no idea that Vince was such an awesome guitarist. Besides the music, the stories & antecdotes about his childhood, his foks, his musical mentors, and his family were endearing, and all were humorous. . If you get the chance to see Vince, take a friend--You won't be sorry.
I bought the tickets to see Vince Gill as a Mother's Day present for my mom. I wasn't familiar with his music and didn't know if my mom liked him or not, but he was the only country-ish concert in the area at that time so I bought the tickets. Wow, did we ever luck out! The show was fantastic and my mom and I both really enjoyed the show. Vince's interaction with the audience was fantastic, his personality shines and he made the audience feel like we were meeting a new friend. For sure he found some new fans. He was all-around impressive and we were amazed that his encore was another full set! I'll go see Vince Gill anytime he's in the area and because of his great show a new Mother's Day tradition has been born in our family. Thanks for the memories, Vince.
We thought the show Vince Gill gave at Harrah's Tunica was amazing. The facilities were great and he gave a two hour non-stop show.
Vince is my favorite entertainer. He played for almost 3 hrs. I have been a Vince Gill fan for many years and have met him several times. He always takes the time to talk to you and sign autograghs. I went to his fan club party the year I got married in Nashville and then met him again back stage at the Grand Ole Opry and he remembered us. He is there for his fans not just the MONEY. Although I know he does this for a living. He is just a very thoughtful and caring guy. I wish there were more of them in the country music business, but some of them don't give the fans the time of day. Fans are the ones that made them who they are.
This was a Great outdoor concert! It was perfect weather, the band was awesome and of course Vince Gill was unbelievable. It was non stop entertainment for nearly 2 hours straight! Best concert I've been to in a long time. I would highly recommend this concert to anyone. Vince Gill is a superb singer and an awesome guitar player too!
Vince Gill put on an excellent, classy concert covering favorites, some new songs, and some very good lesser known tunes. In an era of contrived country acts, where each show is exactly the same night after night, Vince Gill gives a unique performance each night. He showcases his guitar work, his band members get to take solos, he tells great stories in between songs and his vocals are as good as ever. He seems to truly enjoy playing and entertaining. The show was almost 3 hours long.
The casino floor plan is designed so that there is not a bad seat in the house. Vince sounds awesome in person. He is also very down to earth and personable and has a cute personality on stage.
An unforgettable show that was totally the real Vince for 2 hours. He played a great variety with old and new, latest - funny as ever - BEST I'VE SEEN.
Vince Gill's talent is just amazing! I love to hear his beautiful voice and watch him play. His band is wonderful and his back up singers are too! He is so funny on stage and I love to hear him sing my favorite....If You Have Forever In Mind. Great time! I had been going through withdrawals because it has been a while since he has been to Tunica...so I got my fix!
great show! He's a pro- once he started playing he did'nt stop till the show was over. Enjoyed his stories of growing up, esp. about his father. He can play a guiter!
The show was great as it always is. All the songs were great, and we got a listen to some new music which was equally as good. He always entertains and is just an all around fun person to listen to. I only wish it had went on longer, but I could have listened to his music all night. He has a wonderfully talented group of people with him and it shows in the quality of the performance. I wish I could attend every show, but that is impossible.
Vince Gill was awesome. He was so laid back that the whole concert seemed like he was having a ball. He talked a little but mostly played music. I would have personally loved to hear a little more of his older songs.
Vince Gill at the Southern Indiana Horseshoe Casino gave one of his normal enjoyable performances. It was great to sit back, relax and mellow out to Vince.
Very good, such a great person, very good show and he is very funny.
