  • Amazing show!

by Lisa in AZ on 9/17/24Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

This show was incredible. The small group of musicians and singers were all so good. The costumes were lovely, but the music was so wonderful. I tried not to sing along, but I didn't always succeed. It was a full 2 hours of beautiful arrangements of some of my favorite songs. The part dedicated to The Greatest Showman was great - they did every song from the show. If you have a chance to catch this concert, GO! I hope they come back again.

  • Stellar Performance

by AZSue on 9/17/24Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 4 out of 5

Great selection of familiar songs performed by an amazing group of musicians. The two violinists were exceptional. The vocalists were also talented and entertaining, especially the one who sang, “Never Enough.” What a powerful, moving experience! The venue was a comfortable size and the staging good. We did feel that the sound projection of the singers/narrator could have been better.

  • Very Good Performance

by Richard on 9/17/24Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

Last Saturday night my wife and I saw a very good performance by the Vienna Light Orchestra at Centennial Hall on the Univ. of Arizona campus in Tucson. I’m giving the orchestra performance 5 stars, but there were several minor issues I want to mention. First, we didn’t receive a program of the performance when we entered the theater. I had never heard of the Vienna Light Orchestra before Saturday and I still don’t know where the orchestra is from or much about the music they performed. A program is always a good souvenir. The second issue is with the audio in Centennial Hall. The conductor of the orchestra was introducing much of the music, but I couldn’t understand most of what he said.

Wonderful show. The finale of "You'll Never Walk Alone"was spectacular. I had tears in my eyes. The female vocalists are SOOO GOOOOD! This was a wonderful show from start to finish. The costumes, the musical selections and the musicians were all top notch. Bravo!

  • Just fabulous

    by Dancingspirit9 on 9/17/24Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

Popular and show music performed by a mostly string orchestra. The musicians and vocalists are among the very best and the show beautifully arranged. It was over two hours of pure joy.

  • Great music sad venue

by RnC on 9/17/24Centennial Hall - TucsonRating: 5 out of 5

The trip through musical emotion and pleasure was mesmorizing. Sadly it was perfirmed in a redicukas excuse of a performance hall. We could not hear or understand any spoken word. The UofA should be ashamed to offer this terrible sound system to any professional music organization. My suggestion is certianly go see this offering only never at Centenial Hall on the Unibercity Arizona.

  • Amazing- Must See

by LL on 5/7/23MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

This was an absolutely wonderful experience. We heard many beautiful classics at the beginning of the show with very talented vocalists, and then the orchestra played the entire soundtrack for The Greatest Showman. The show ended with more amazing showcases of talent from the orchestra. It was truly a great show and would definitely see it again!

  • I loved this concert…every song- every minute.

by Lynn on 5/4/23MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

There was constant music. No breaks. From one beautiful song to the next. It was evident that every person enjoyed the music they were making-they were animated and smiling and moving their bodies to the music. I particularly loved the percussionist with the long pony tail. She just made you feel the music as intensely as she did. Great concert.

  • Such a good experience!

by Suzanne on 5/2/23MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

This was great! Lots of great songs from musicals and classical pieces, some with vocal accompaniments and some without. The music from The Greatest Showman was very well done. My 10 year old had a good time as well.

The performance was good but I felt like the advertising was a bit misleading about the content.

  • Beautiful performance

by Seoul sound chaser on 5/2/23MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Parking on a Red Sox day is crazy expensive ($55-60) The venue upgraded my seats due to closing the top balcony to 4th row floor seats. the chairs are close together and attached and if you sit next to a bigger person you will be touched and the seat cushion isn’t too comfy. The venue has lots of bars. The Vienna light orchestra was amazing, each musician was world class and gave an amazing show. The set list was perfect, the singers top notch. If you like musicals and show tunes, definitely see this show
