The Four Tops came out strong and then just fizzeled out. Their lack of hits in the back catalog (versus The Temptations) was evident and they did 4 songs in a row of other artists. After a break, The Temptations came on and blew everyone away. They did all their hits, which is why people come out to these shows, and still left some undone due to time.
Everything went well! With most of the crowd being over 50 we know the best music was back in the late 50's and 60's! What a night! It was the 2nd concert we ever saw. We loved the choice of having 2 bands together! We hope to get tickets for future concerts. This was our first time seeing a concert at Wind Creek! Bob and Dianne T.
The concert was just as expected. The only problem that I had was with the venue. That's why I dropped my rating to 4 stars. I have been going to Westbury for at least 40 years so you know I have good memories. However, I was sitting in Section G, row Q and the floor was so sticky that it almost pulled off my loafers whenever I tried to move my feet!! This is no joke. The people in the row behind us were making similar remarks about their floor. Please clean the floors!!!
The only reason I didn't give this show 5 stars is because I was a bit disappointed with the Four Tops performance. The Temptations were fantastic. Their harmony is supreme and the dance routines are on point. I would go see them again if they are paired up with a different group.
The four Tops were the opening act. They were fabulous, played all their Greatest Hits with so much energy! We love them. The Temptations are OK, too much talking and not enough singing.

Some great songs and music but performance was outdated
So much energy, and joy! Wonderful choreography and vocals. Can’t ask for more, but we received it. Otis, the original Temptation, treated us to stories from “back in the day “, and all the performers graciously leaned over and shook hands with the fans after each performance.
This was our 2nd time seeing The Four Tops and The Temptations. First of all, the sound system at Wind Creek is awful. Both groups wasted a lot of time with long orchestra opening numbers and lots of talking. Basically, there is big difference between the groups. The Four Tops have weak voices & dancing, wrinkled poly suits and a good orchestra to hold them together. The Temptations are way better. They looked great in black tuxes, had much stronger voices and the dance moves we all remember. They have a new, much younger member that they recently signed from Ain't Too Proud To Beg on Broadway. Oldest member of The Temptations just turned 82. Yes, 82. Enjoyed it but we won't be buying tix to see them a 3rd time.
The Four Tops were very disappointing- did not sound like the original band. However, the Temptations were very good and put on a great show!
