Robinson Performance Hall - Little Rock
This show was simply amazing! I love the movie and stage show is just as good! The kids steal the show (don't they always?) And the main nun? WOW! Her voice and the notes she can reach gives you chills! This is definitely a must see if you like the movie!

Phenomenal production value! With a cast whose talent is bigger than the Alps, along with lighting, sound, and sets utilized to the maximum to pack the Austrian countryside and Von Trapp estates onto the Forum stage. A truly great performance, highly recommended!

It was the best show I have ever seen locally. Every bit as good as any Broadway production I have attended. The sellout audience all stood as one when the show ended and applauded thunderously as the cast took their bows. A memorable night at the theater.

Had great seats. Music was fabulous. One complaint people sitting behind me eating and crinkling food bag throughout whole show. Shouldn’t allow food in theater very distracting.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, suggested by “The Trapp Family Singers” by Maria Augusta Trapp.
THE SOUND OF MUSIC enjoyed extraordinary success as the first live television production of a musical in over 50 years when “The Sound of Music Live!” aired on NBC in December, 2013 and was seen by over 44 million people. 2015 marked the 50th anniversary of the film version, which continues to be the most successful movie musical in history.
