Veld Music Festival Tickets

None of us could get our money back for drink tickets when they shut down the event. Not only this but because of the huge weather delay the first day we missed a ton of the sets for day 1 as well. I will not be going back to any ink events next year. The weather is not their fault, but taking the money and running and not offering partial refunds like they just did for digital dreams is ridiculous.

Veld was set up great this year, the tent got the upgrade it needed... Lines took forever waited 3 hours to get in on day 1 and missed all of day two.. A refunded is needed as they cancelled 2 hours of day 1 and pretty well all of day 2 overall if it wasn't for weather veld would have killed it this year

The whole event was a shit show, just happy i saw Deadmau5. I hope we get our money back

To start, Day 1 had ~2 hour delay due to "weather" which ended up being passing dark clouds, NO RAIN. Leaving festival attendees in line for 2+ hours waiting to get wristbands they weren't giving out and another hour to enter the festival. The lines were chaos, and no exit gate after you received your wristband. Basically push and shove amongst angry people. Acts up til 6:30 were cancelled. Day 2 festival grounds were evacuated at 4:30 for a storm and then cancelled. Understandable, but it stopped storming by 7:30 and they could've had the headliners still perform. So much for the tickets saying "Event goes Rain or Shine" I feel it is reasonable to give customers a partial refund since half of the festival was cancelled and delayed. Overall, could have been an awesome festival, from the time I was there the sound and stage lights were great. But it definitely wasn't worth traveling from USA for.

First day was alright except the 2 or 3 hour rain delay and 2nd day was just a right off and I think we should be getting some kind of refund back since we missed out on 5 hours of what we paid for..

I was so upset I paid so much money to miss all of my favourite acts. Bullshit

The weather for any outdoor event is unforeseen. That's understandable. But holding thousands and thousands of people squished together outside of the gates in the blazing hot sun for 3 straight hours because there might be some lightning? That's ridiculous. Guests were dropping like flies from heat exhaustion or drug/alcohol abuse. Situations like these should be thought out and properly taken care of. As for the second day being canceled, i'm sure that INC entertainment will do the right thing and refund the appropriate amount (50% TOTAL = 10% of the day being canceled DAY 1 + 40% of the day being canceled DAY 2 ) to their guests. It was a shame that such an amazing event was handled so poorly due to some **possible** bad weather.

First there was a lightning delay for like 3 hours on day one. The sky was partly cloudy and I think I actually got sun burnt during the delay. They ran out of half of the beverage options on day one. The staff was completely rude. Taking selfies on the phones and videos of the crowds while working. Day two was cancelled to a 15 minute severe storm and evacuated. VELD WAS CANCELED OR DELAYED MORE THAN IT WAS OPEN In my opinion at least a partial refund is in order.

Veld was put on "weather standby" for 2 hours on the first day so the whole festival shut down (despite the fact that it was hot and sunny the entire time). The second day, it was canceled at 5 pm because of the thunderstorm. So we lost 8 hours of the festival with no refund. Would definitely not recommend this to anyone. Most of the girls were wearing a torn up cloth that barely covered anything. Drinks are ridiculously expensive. There are only 2 stages. Horribly organized overall.

Veld was cancelled the second day because of weather evacuation and the first day they stopped the music for over 2 hours because of a few clouds, I would rather go to an indoor rave like Solaris where I actually get to see all of the dj's perform I missed Hardwell, DVBBS, and carnage this year and I was not impressed

Been to all 4 so far, never going again, want at least half my money back for this last disaster of a festival

The lineup was amazing and the price was not too bad for all the DJs going BUT the second day was canceled due to weather and the event is supposed to be rain or shine. They haven't said anything about refunding us our money and it's complete crap. On the first day they stopped in the middle of someones set for 2 HOURS because of possible rain (in a rain or shine event) and nothing happened, no rain or anything. Will not be going to this event again.

Soo it's hard to give much of a review. Veld when it was happening? Best thing ever. Most fun I've ever had, and some really amazing people. There was a two hour wait in the middle of the day due to "lightning warnings" where there was no lightning, not even rain. That was bull. Second day? Just got in and it was cancelled. I realize you can't control the weather but if it was known the weather would be so bad.... Postpone for a week?? Extremely disappointed in the second day.

Can't believe how badly organized this event was. After digital screwing up ink entertainment should have really stepped up their game. Dissapointment after disappointment. Will never attend both festivals ever again. Big loss of time and money. We deserve a refund !!!!!

Terrible event, I along with 80,000 other people were very disappointed, they search you from head to toe like prisoners and cancel the event the second a spec of rain drops.

The first day of artists was great, the 2 hour wait and cut off of one of the DJs was a bit excessive but unfortunately necessary. The second day was packed with world class DJs which I think all festival goers were looking forward to. The weather cancellation was of course necessary but there should be some compensation. There was a total of 8-10 hours of music that was not played because of the weather, which again is no ones fault, but a huge let down to everyone there. Announcing that one of the headliners was going to the after party when it was already sold out was also extremely annoying.

The event got cancelled. The largest performers did not even play.

I want my refund. 1st time at veld, deeply disappointed as they could have handled things slightly differently to please everyone. Plus the weather was decent after the storm, sure it would have been a mud pit but I doubt everyone would have cared as much as getting kicked out. What I seen was decent I can't lie so I'm pleased with what I seen its just a lot less than I paid for
