Just amazing. Brought tears to my eyes. I have been a fan for years and to be able to see my role model perform, it was the best feeling I could have have. Her voice is so smoothing and she knows how to work the audience.
Vanessa Williams performance was superb! She gave us one the best shows of our lives, it was amazing. The music was timeless and elegant, Vanessa was beautiful and sophisticated; this was the show of all shows!
Vanessa and crew was awesome, She kill it, revive it and kill it again, it was a fantastic show and darius was great as ever, simply put the show was Wow!!!! great way to start the new year,

Venue was larger than we had hoped and I thought we'd be a little closer to the stage. Despite that, the people we met that night were very nice, we had a good dinner and Ms. Williams is still as she was when she first burst on the scene in 1984: an amazing singer, a great dancer and drop-dead gorgeous. Still one of the most beautiful people on the planet.

Vanessa's voice is fantastic however the music mixing was poor. Some songs the music drowned out the vocals. Bass guitar volume was out of sync with the rest of the instruments - so much so that the sound was distorted. Venue was ok however at times felt like you were at a football or baseball game. Vendors walked up and down aisles selling beer and shots during the performance.
Vanessa looked and sounded great. After seeing her on Ugly Betty for the last couple of years you forget that she is so talented and you forget about her great voice and of the hits she had in the 80's.
My wife and I really enjoyed the performance last evening and will atttend others. This was our first time seeing her in a live setting. Everything leading up to the performance was also satisfying; our tickets were waiting for us at "will call", the setting for her performace was also good. The only suggesting we would make. which may not be under your control, were the sounds of the bass guitar and drums which kinda reduced the quality of her voice. The men who sit in the booth and control the sound did not seem to be concerned that the rhythm section was, at times, too loud. However, the overall performance was still very well presented.
Vanessa Williams displayed her vocals, elegance, class, style and charm with an array of tunes that spanned her entire career. She and the band were on cue and , as always, mesmerized the audience with her sweet, sensual voice and super energy with the fans. This is the second time I've seen her and she delivers a classy show. Always a treat! What a beautiful, talented entertainer.
The first half of the show was disappointing since the sound mixing had the band overwhelming her voice and we could not really hear her. This got better later in the show, but remained somewhat of a problem as the evening went on. The venue itself may have been more suited to a rodeo or hard rock concert rather than a spot for a smooth voiced artist like Ms. Williams. Living in Las Vegas, we see a lot of shows and are used to viewing and hearing more polished banter between the artist and the audience. Although we weren't bothered by this, Vanessa didn't quite have the smoothness of interaction with her audience that we have come to expect from tour events. She just may not tour much.
This was was first time I'd seen Vanessa Williams perform and I was thrilled. Everything from her carefully selected musical selections to her lyrical chords and commanding stage presence gave me every dime of my money's worth. At the end of it all I was completely satiated. I would definitely pay to see her again. Loose Ends did not disappoint, but I believe they should take another look at their song selections. For a band that hasn't put out new music in over 20 years, they should stick to what people know. Also, the hype man is so unnecessary to their performance. In fact, he was a major distraction and interference. They are a talented R&B band; they should trust in their own sound and abilities and lose the gimmick. Both Huggie and Gary Owens rocked the house. I had a great time.
Tom is great. He help all to have fun and get away from their home town. I always go to Tom events. I always enjoy the events.
I enjoyed Vanessa. She bought class an sophistication to the show but I wished that she would have put in an entire dance routine with at least one dress change. I wish she would have goven us a little more of her talent for dancing. Loose Ends was good but I really didn't know who they were until they sang the two songs towards the end that they are known for. I'd give Vanessa 4 stars and Loose Ends 3 stars.
Vanessa is a great performer. I was actually able to see the show without people standing in front of me. I wonder why??
