This was a very well presented concert. I loved the venue! The only drawback for me was the fact that there were no back packs allowed in but nowhere was that posted nor even when I tried to find out in advance nothing was mentioned on the website. Many women were carrying in shoulder bags much bigger than a backpack but they were okay. It resulted in a walk back to car.

About
USHER has cemented his status as a generation-defining superstar over a three-decade career. After releasing his 1997 breakthrough album My Way — his first album to make the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 — he defined the 2000s with Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits like “Yeah!” (featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris), “OMG” (featuring will.i.am) and “Love in This Club” (featuring Young Jeezy). USHER’s diamond-certified album Confessions (2004) marked his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and produced four No. 1 hits, including “My Boo” featuring Alicia Keys. The eight-time Grammy Award winner launched his “My Way” Las Vegas residency in July 2022, with tickets selling out almost immediately, and is set to embark on the massive USHER: Past Present Future run in 2024.

well worth the money
by Nicki08 on 5/17/10Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre - Chula VistaRating: 5 out of 5Excellent concert. All artists that performed were great and entertained the crowd. The majority of people were there for Justin Bieber. Would recommend going again next year.
Had a great time!!
by Mamacita38 on 5/17/10Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre - Chula VistaRating: 5 out of 5We took our 10 year old to this event as his first concert. We all had a great time. It was nice to see a lot of parents there with their children. Things were well organized. The music was not too too loud (other than the screaming Bieber fans). It was just an overall great time. I think we made some lasting memories for our son. Awesome job to all of the performers!!
ALL CHOREOGRAPHY
by MAISTRA on 5/16/10Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre - Chula VistaRating: 4 out of 5THE MUSIC WAS EXCELLENT. BUT, I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE CHOREOGRAPHY BY THE PERFORMERS WAS VERY DIRTY AND INAPPROPRIATE FOR THE EVENT . THIS EVENT WAS PROMOTED FOR MANY FAMILIES TO ATTEND, AND WE DID . WE TOOK OUR SMALL CHILDREN AS WE LL AS PRE-TEENS (IN MY CASE).ALTHOUGH THE DANCING WAS GREAT MANY (IF NOT ALL) OF THE MOVES WERE DEFINETELY INAPROPRIATE. BUT I GUESS T HAT'S WHAT SELLS, I BELIEV I WOULD HAVE TO REFLECT AND WEIGHT THE VALUE OF THE EVENT AND DECIDE IF I WOULD TAKE MY KIDS TO A CONCERT LIKE THIS ONE OR DO I GO SOLO.

Only down fall was i sat up top on the lawn section but the speakers and monitors gave us a great view. I would definitely go again =)

I thought the concert was amazing EXCEPT Kesha!!! I thought she looked strung out and was inappropriate for the crowd. Everyone else was fantastic!

Summer Kickoff Concert
by chelegirl1 on 5/16/10Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre - Chula VistaRating: 4 out of 5We had an awesome time. The performers were great. I have never been to Cricket with so many people there. The lawn area was packed. Next time I would pay alittle more to just have a seat. The only thing was there were too many little little girls and their parents let them do whatever they wanted with no respect to others, such as: walk all over your stuff, push to get infront of you. We got there early so my girls can be upfront and their parent were telling them to come up infront of us. Other then that it was awesome and loved everyone who played and would go again next year.
usher was amazing!!
by cha0slvr on 5/16/10Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre - Chula VistaRating: 4 out of 5Usher did not come on until the very end around 10:30pm...he did alot of his older songs, ie "you make me wanna", he was on for about an hour and he was amazing. He's a great performer, singer, and dancer!
Kick Off
by Taylormayd on 5/16/10Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre - Chula VistaRating: 4 out of 5Overall the show was great. All the acts were good except for the female who can't sing to save her life. lol Real Talk. Justin has more talent than I thought. When he played the drums I was like Whoa! My boi has a bright future ahead of him. Usher shut it down of course. Like he said...We could have been there all night listening to his hits.
There is such a thing as being TOO CLOSE!
by DunnSC27 on 5/16/10Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre - Chula VistaRating: 3 out of 5Had 5th row orchestra seats. The line-up was fantastic - especially as far as my 9 year old daughter was concerned. The seats were right in front of the bank of woofers on the right side - SO LOUD you really couldn't hear the vocals. Sound for most of the acts was incredibly distorted - especially Ke$ha who we were very excited to see. Justin Beiber was great - his songs were the clearest over the overpowering bass of most of the acts. He also did by far the best job of using the entire stage and working the sides instead of just the middle of the stage. You need to move way back at Cricket for good sound quality or you need to be right up front to see the acts clearly - there is no happy medium there. Closest I have ever been and thus the worst show I've ever seen there.
Channel 93.3 Summer Kick-Off was the best
by Sydneysdad2010 on 5/16/10Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre - Chula VistaRating: 5 out of 5I think I maybe father of the year. Taking my 12 yr old daughter to see Justin Beiber was the coolest thing for us.
Good Concert!
by Deeryloured on 5/16/10Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre - Chula VistaRating: 4 out of 5The concert was great! There were so many artists! The amount of songs they did was a good average too. However, the time between sets seemed very excessive. Oh and Ke$ha was a big hot mess. And I'm not saying that because I don't like her, I do, but her performance... She seemed drunk or high or both.
Amazing performances
by jenpris on 5/16/10Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre - Chula VistaRating: 5 out of 5Every performer there was AMAZING. As for the venue- I would never get lawn seats again!
