    World Class Wrestling and Sportsmanship!

by Anonymous on 3/19/14The Forum - Inglewood

I am extremely glad that I was able to attend this event! It is not every day that we are able to welcome the best wrestling countries in the world to the US and watch them compete. The crowd was energetic and supportive, the athletes were impressive, and their sportsmanship was impeccable. It is obvious that these athletic rivals are a band of brothers who respect each other and enjoy competing with each other. I hope that we can get more events like this in LA and other places in the US soon!

    Huge Disappointment

    by AliG6 on 3/19/14The Forum - Inglewood

The wrestling was excellent and the ONLY reason I would recommend the event .... BUT the event seemed disorganized. The setting was much more concert-appropriate than sporting event despite the Forum's previous iterations as basketball and hockey venues. Incredibly overpriced on everything - tickets, parking at $25 a day and a crummy soda for $4.50 or more. Ushers and floor staff had no idea about the place and could not direct you to your seat, and were also very unfriendly and unwelcoming. NOT AT ALL impressed.

Best show I have ever seen. Ukraine and Russian wrestlers exchanging gifts/tokens of friendship before their match. Iranians chanting for USA when no USA fans seemed to have shown up. Horns, drums, dancing and singing in the stands. The greatest sport in the world bringing the people of the world together.

    USA/Iran rocked

I loved this event!!! The only complaint that I have is that it wasn't marketed extremely well.

    That was awesome!

by elgatk on 6/13/11Cox Convention Center Arena - Oklahoma City

I have been a collegiate wrestling fan for a little bit over a year. The season was over and when I learnt that the I the World Team Trials were held in OK City I thought it would be interesting to attend. I ordered the tickets early to get better seats I checked the internet for the freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling and there we went. The even was exciting. It was marvelous to see Cael Sanderson in action ( a pleasant surprise to me), as well as Elena Pirozhkova (I share her first name and possibly the Russian or Ukrainian roots, judging by the last name). You can tell a great athlete when you see one. There were some other outstanding performances we enjoyed. We were also proud to see John Smith joining the team (not for the first time ) as a coach. That is very special for us who live is Stillwater and love our wrestling team. I wish more people could see this event and appreciate this beautiful sport!

USA wrestling team trials 2011 OKC

by pjvog on 6/13/11Cox Convention Center Arena - Oklahoma City

This was an awesome event - and an excellent buy for the price! It's fortunate for me that not many people know about or understand what a great sport wrestling is, or I wouldn't be able to afford and enjoy great seats for an outstanding sporting event like this. I got to see the best competitors in the US (and in some cases - the best in the world!) all square off, live and in close view, without paying hundreds of dollars for the opportunity. It was great!

Excellent event, not a bad seat in the house. I was easily able to see the matches on all mats.
