The USA Basketball Women's National Team will compete in a Red-White intrasquad exhibition game on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina. The USA's Road to the World Cup will also feature a USA-Canada exhibition contest on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Tickets for both games, as well as a Sept. 7 Canada-Japan game at Webster Bank Arena, are on sale now.
USA Basketball Men's National Team to face Boomers in Melbourne Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews MP has announced that the USA Basketball Men's National Team will face the Australian Boomers in a two-match pre-FIBA World Cup series in Melbourne, Australia next year.
The matches will be played at Etihad Stadium on Thursday 22 August and Saturday 24 August 2019 as part of both nations' planned preparations for the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China, starting 31 August.

by Sammie79 on 8/16/10Madison Square Garden - New YorkMSG was packed for the first game (USA v. France) and then quickly emptied out before the second game (PR v. China) However, I thought the second game was the better one. The USA game was a bit boring, and as usual, US's team beat their opposition. Nothing new or exciting there. Yet the second game was a rollercoaster from the beginning. PR maintained the lead throughout but China kept closing the gap throughout the game. Definitely a nail biter and the fans made all the difference!

by Shaqachusetts on 8/16/10Madison Square Garden - New YorkGood times at Madison Square Garden. I had never been there before, so that was a fun first event despite the lack of a "packed house". Team USA, even with these replacement players, are ridiculously fun to watch. France had a huge crowd there, but they got real quiet in the 2nd half. If team USA is around your area, go see them, or make the trip back to MSG for the next time they come.

Great atmosphere, definitely strong support for the home team. They showed some good moves and played well together. Only wish I could say the same for the competition - it got a little boring towards the end.
