Except for the technical errors with the sound system during Lindsay Ell, it was an awesome show! I was totally floored with Chris Janson's performance, he rocked the hell out of that stage! Thanks for a wonderful night!!!
Everyone gave a great performance and I love when you can tell how happy they are to be on stage and doing that for a living- Chris Janson especially had so much great energy. I did enjoy the more personal, intimate setting this show had last year, but this was great too!
Stars and strings Event was great!! The performers were all really good. Chris Janson was amazing and he wasn’t even the main event. Allstate Arena needs a make over. I don’t think it’s been remodeled in decades. The PA system wasn’t working so the first performers sang an entire song that we couldn’t hear. It took some time to fix thank goodness the show started at 6pm.
All the acts were great! I really liked that they spun the stage around and it was ready for the next performer. It's so annoying when there's a huge wait between acts. We got to see several great performances and still got out of there by 10 which was great since it was Sunday.
Was expecting more of a stripped down hokiday themed show that was dedicated to the troops. It was a regular show. Only real issue was the audio board needed to be rebooted after the opening act Seaforth and Lindsey Elle. She did her level best to plsy through the SNAFU, but onky 1 mic worked, and her guitar wasn't getting sound out to speakers. She rocked! All of the preformers were really, really good. Grest energy from Lindsey, Scott, and Jason. Tou could tell that Kane was still suffering the loss of his friend and drummer. I'm looking forwarx to the next US99.5 show
Great concert lineup, clean facilities, parking went smoothly, even made out of the parking lot in under 5 minutes.
The concert itself was amazing. I was in the 6th row on the floor. The spacing between the rows however was absolutely ridiculous. We had to stand and kneel on our chairs to let people by, that’s how tight the seating was. There was no chance of a person sneaking by. The entire row either had to stand up and leave the row or like I said kneel on our chairs and let the person by. And people in my row were especially thirsty so it was a major annoyance. I don’t know who planned the seating and spacing but honestly they need to be talked to because it significantly affects my concert experience. And those tickets were not cheap.
Our seats were fantastic. However, the promoters of Stars and Strings have lost the original concept of this concert. In previous years, it was an accoustic performance with multiple stars all on one stage. And the proceeds benefited Folds of Honor. This year, it was a normal concert (although it was very good) and Christmas related. I think they have missed the mark on the concept of Stars and Strings. If you are keeping the same format, call it a Christmas concert.
The PA system was broken for half of Lindsay's set. She had to keep leaving the stage. Sound quality was horrible for Chris and Kane, you couldn't hear what they were saying when they would try and talk to the audience. Music wasn't loud enough. Very poor quality all around and NONE of it was the performers faults!!!!!
The audio was messed up for probably one-third of the show. Not good. Entertainers were wonderful after it was fixed. Chris Janson blew the roof off the the arena!!!
