    Rip City Was Great

by DelanoMZ on 11/8/11Chiles Center - University of Portland - Portland

The RCBC was great. It was what I expected. Lots of high flying action, with alley opps, dunks, 3-pointers and some amazingly creative passing. Not a lot of defense was to be seen, but that is what we expected for an exhibition game. And yet there were a few blocked shots to add some excitement. And it was all for a good cause. Thanks a bunch, LaMarcus.

    Thank you LaMarcus!!!

by HotPocket42 on 11/8/11Chiles Center - University of Portland - Portland

If we don't have an NBA season, I won't mind as much now. Complete class LaMarcus, Durant and others involved. This review is probably completely pointless, as it likely won't happen again.

    Great basketball, awful announcing!

by JustYourAverageGuy on 11/8/11Chiles Center - University of Portland - Portland

It was great to see some of the NBA's best out having fun. Brandon Roy didn't show, which was a minor disappointment, but it was also fun to see some of the new and younger Blazers displaying their skills. Only bad part was the announcing, and it was awful. Disorganized, sporadic, and at most times you couldn't understand what they were saying. With no last names on the jerseys and no numbers in the program, it was hard to remember who was who without the announcer saying it. I was also a bit disappointed at the check amounts given to the charities. Many of these players make over $50,000 PER GAME in the NBA, and yet none of the checks were for over $30,000. Overall a fun time, but next time get a good announcer.

by PdxblazerDio on 11/8/11Chiles Center - University of Portland - Portland

So much fun! The guys were really having fun out there! It was great to see Jeff P out on the court again - Armon Johnson always has a smile on his face and full of energy!! It was awesome that LaMarcus put this together - He continues to amaze me!

    Meh

by Zeeeeema on 11/8/11Chiles Center - University of Portland - Portland

Worse than the NBA all-star game. Kevin Durant is a ball hog that shot about 10 too many deep jumpers & Harden was a lazy slob. Could've done without the OKC peeps.

Oregon State vs University of Portland Pilots

by Charlie58 on 4/28/11Joe Etzel Field - Portland

Another fabulous experience at Joe Etzel Field. My comment after the first game was heard and addressed and I thank you so much. Looking forward to the Gonzaga games this year. Could use some dry days. Thanks!

    I was Scalped in Portland

by Charlie58 on 4/17/11Joe Etzel Field - Portland

I love watching baseball at Joe Etzel Field. I take my father every year twice. The cost of tickets if reasonable, but then there is a handling charge, a surcharge, and a quick print charge that ended up being more cost than the tickets themselves. Ridiculous! Surprised by the prices at the concession stand, they were affordable.
