I was very pleased with the level of hockey played by University of Alabama in Huntsville and Merrimack College. Nice to have a 'college game atmosphere' at a 'pro game venue'. The pep band was a nice touch that flavored the event well.
What a fun night. We went to see a game and introduce our 15-month old girl to hockey. It didn't take long before she was dancing to the band and cheering with the crowd. Our 5-yr-old son had a blast as well and he picked the winning team on the color of their jereseys. By not being a Preds. game, we had better seats and could get a better feel of what was going on.
It was fun to see a Division 1 college hockey game in Nashville. The local universities try to have a hockey team but just can't get enough support. The game was a close one with the lead changing a couple of times. I wish UAH had won, but a good game overall.

This was a fun outing for the family. First time for some to see an actual hockey game. Small crowd and good seats. Cheap entertainment and spent time on Broadway pubs. Good Time.
UAH had Merrimack beat, but they got sloppy in the 3rd and choked up a loss. Great comeback by Merrimack.
I took my 3 daughters with me to this game. They have been to NHL hockey games and they enjoyed this more. I kind of enjoyed it more also. It was more of a family atmosphere. Nobody yelling you s*** the whole time. They made the drinks reasonable. So once again you can take the family and afford it and get some great hockey at the same time. If you are a true Ice Hockey Fan, if you just wants to find out if you like hockey, or you want a great game to take your kids to, then this is the type of event that you definitely don't want to miss!!!!
UAH is a growing hockey team. It was a learning experience for them to play a team from the strongest hockey conf in the US, Hockey East.
This was my first time watching college ice hockey. I bought these tickets as an alternative to spending far too much money on Predators tickets. The game was fast moving and hard hitting. The teams skated and played as though to impress and that they did. For those who want to be able to take the entire family to a hockey game, NCAA is the way to go. However, seats were too close to the bench, players were in the way of the action at other end. Disappointing to know tickets were being given away for free after I paid full price.
Good, clean game to take the kids to. Great experience for the price!
