University of South Carolina Gamecocks Football at Williams-Brice Stadium
There's nothing quite like the energy of SEC Football, and the University of South Carolina Gamecocks are playing the best conference opponents in the nation, year in and year out. National powerhouses like Clemson, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn make their way to Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, SC, every Saturday during college football season, and a Gamecocks game starts well before kickoff. While the 52-acre tailgate area is a proper SEC football pre-game experience, there are also three nearby breweries and a more ready-made fan zone in the Lexington Medical Center Gamecock Village, which opens 4.5 hours before kickoff. Once inside of "The Cock Pit," you're among 80,000+ people in the stadium as the team enters to the strains of "Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30" made famous in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey, a game-day tradition for nearly 40 years. If the Gamecocks score a touchdown, the music becomes even more a part of the experience, with Darude's "Sandstorm" blasting after every touchdown. Plain and simple, Gamecock football games are a big deal. The team has ended the year in the Top 25 six times since 2000, and even the mascot, Cocky, is — no joke — a four-time national champion mascot. Every home game sells out, because who wouldn't want to watch SEC Players of the Year like defensive end Jadeveon Clowney or running back Marcus Lattimore? The sun shines strong on Saturday in Columbia, so don't forget to put on sunscreen, and as long as you're wearing garnet and black, you'll fit right in.
University of South Carolina Gamecocks Football History
College Football's South Carolina Gamecocks play their games at the 80,250-capacity Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, SC. Since 2010, the stadium has undergone $30 million in renovations, including the installation of a giant 36-foot-high by 124-foot-wide HD video board and the lush Springs Brooks Plaza promenade entrance. A decorated college football program to say the least, the team has been coached in the past by Hall of Famers Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier, while current head coach Will Muschamp has taken the Gamecocks to a bowl game every year of his tenure. The program has churned out quality NFL talent in players like the great Sterling Sharpe, former No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney and Super Bowl winners Stephon Gilmore and Alshon Jeffery.

Vols thought they had us! It was a heck of an experience to watch go GAMECOCKS!
While the actual football game was very disappointing for us Tennessee fans, the night game atmosphere at the stadium was very good. Its SEC football and as far as the show they put on was amazing. I will go back if the opportunity arises.
I’ve been to more games at Williams-Brice than I can count. Each and everyone one was a great experience, even the losses. However, there is no place like Willy B. when the Gamecocks are playing lights out. Opposing teams need to bring the goggles because the forecast is always calling for a Sandstorm!
Game was originally for Saturday and got moved to Thursday to accommodate for hurricane Ian. Bought them when it was scheduled on Saturday and the next morning it was moved. Wasted $150 on tickets we couldn’t attend and no refunds were offered
Football game was exciting, good energy and entertainment. First 5 rows on the visitor side are terrible seats - totally obstructed views due to equipment and personnel. Very crowded seating when sold out.
We LOVED going to a game at Williams Brice Stadium! The walk was not bad, even though our seats were pretty high up and the view was great too. EVERYONE was so nice. The lights and fireworks were great! We will definitely go again!
Game was awesome for first one but did not give 5 star because some young twit drinking spilled beer all over my back and i don't drink.
We enjoyed our time at the game. Our seat where up high but could still see all the action. Couldn't hear the band during half time. We had fun and enjoyed ourselves.
The game was great! Loved being at Williams Brice Stadium! The new upgraded lights and sound system was awesome!!!
The electric environment in Williams Brice stadium is one of a kind
Love the new lights and sound system improvements. Stadium was rocking!!!
We had good seats and the new light show was wonderful. Enjoyed being there, plus we hit a WIN. Go Gamecocks
We had a wonderful time. The only issue was when it was time to get into the game, I could not get internet on my phone so I couldn't show the tickets. My phone is not that old. Please add a feature to download and print your tickets! I have been able to download & print tickets in the past as a backup. Please, please, please add that feature back! Thank you!
Great seats easy to fine easy to get into beautiful seats
They won!! Club seats are the way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall, both the website and app are extremely user-friendly. I have never had an issue navigating either of them, and the layout makes good sense. My only issue is trying to transfer a ticket. I tried through the app, and the ticket got held up somewhere. I ended up having to cancel the transfer and was luckily at the game with the individual who I had tried to transfer the ticket.
It was awesome that I could transfer one of my two tickets to a third party that was joining me at the game. This cut down on time getting through the gate!!
What a place. Best atmosphere on the planet! USC stomped FL on a cold night for SC but we were partying in the lounges!
The ticket purchase was easy, the mobile ticketing was easy and the game was great!
