Going to the game and seeing my Alma Mater(Maryland) is always fun and memorable. And I would NOT recommend standing room only tickets to anyone again unless it was for a champion finals game. Visibility was poor and it’s not comfortable at all to not have a seat.
Amazing game, I can see why it is growing in popularity. The stadium is configured so that you can really see all of the action. Terrific atmosphere.
We sat in Section 130 in row 17 to watch the Maryland vs UVA lacrosse tournament. The seats were great! We had close view of the action and were under shade. It was a beautiful day!
Wonderful venue for Lax games and the cost of the game ticket was amazing!! A little more flexibility regarding in and out privileges or outside food /drinks would have been appreciated. Having to buy food and drinks for a family for 8 hours got a little pricey!!
The above title sums up the experience. Also, the field is not that close to the Metro Station. I would not rush to see another event there. However the stadium was nice for viewing lax.
Hope they continue the Capitol Classic lacrosse event
Parking is lousy but if you know that going there, no problem. We parked at the wharf and walked over and it was fine. Great area to have a meal and beverage before or after the games. What a great Venue and idea to have 3 excellent games. I hope to see more in the future. I attended the PLL game last year at Audi and will do so again this summer.
Watched #1 UMD Terrapins destroy the #2 UVA Cavaliers in lacrosse. We bought the "cheap seats" which turned out to be great seats. I dont believe theres a bad seat in all of Audi Field. Found out this was a "Cashless Venue" but that was a small bump in the event. Parking is an issue, so I'd highy recommend arriving 2 hours prior to event, and park a little bit further away to save some money. Well worth it imo.
The Audi Field Stadium is really nice but traffic and parking around it is awful. Took an hour and a half from the time I was 5 miles from the stadium until I found a place to park. I was two blocks from the stadium and had my kids jump out and go in without me. 45 minutes later I was parked near the marina. There were over 10,000 lacrosse fans there for an all day event (3 games) but only a third of the concession stands were open. Stood in line for 30 minutes to get food.
Excellent game and a great stadium! Such a fun experience.
