    Great Day for Football

by CadillacPete on 10/2/12Cowell Stadium - Durham

The weather held out nicely for this Family Weekend at Cowell Stadium. And for those who held out to the second half, the payoff was great. The Wildcats took charge over the Blue Hens while the fans enjoyed the ride.

UNH should not sell reserved tickets for football

by Cladtwins on 11/21/11Cowell Stadium - Durham

When purchasing tickets online for the Maine @UNH football game, I had a choice of general admission vs. reserved seating. I chose reserved and paid $20. more (total) for those 4 tickets. UNH did not enforce reserved seating and people were in our seats and would not move. They had purchased general admission tickets. All UNH has to do is have an usher at the entrance to the stairs that lead up to each of the reserved tickets and require that patrons show their tickets. There were plenty of workers on hand, but they did not serve this purpose. Bottom line- don't sell reserved seating if you are not willing to enforce it. It is a rip off!!!

It was okay. I think more people were into tailgating and drinking than watching the game. Lot of under age drinking as well.

UNH Football is well worth the price of admission

    by hackdog99 on 10/11/11Cowell Stadium - Durham

This was the first time I attended a UNH football game. The band was very professional. The seating was great. They are bucket bleacher style seats so although bleachers they were comfortable. Plus for $17 per ticket we were sitting in the first row at the 50 yard line watching a top 10 team in the country in their division play.

The entire process went well. from ordering the tickets,to the service at the will call window, to the seat location, went very well. I would definitely do it again.

    UNH v. Holy Cross: Awesome!

by BearlyRuth on 10/4/11Cowell Stadium - Durham

Great game. Venue was great. If you go, make sure to bring tailgating supplies to join in the fun!!! Had we known, we would've brought a camping stove (and some beer!) and stuff. Didn't know tailgating was such a huge event at a college game! Woo-hoo! Because it's at a college, there's no alcohol w/in the stadium. Note: Get there early--this game really filled up.
