    UJR is the GOAT!!!

    by Leyla on 5/2/24

Uli Jon Roth and his band delivered an unforgettable performance at The Iridium last Sunday night that showcased their exceptional musicianship and electrifying stage presence. Uli's guitar skills were nothing short of extraordinary. Uli's guitar prowess was simply jaw-dropping! His fingers danced effortlessly across the fretboard, producing melodies and mind-bending solos that were technically impressive, emotionally captivating and left the audience in awe. The way Uli commanded his Sky Guitar was nothing short of masterful, and it was a true privilege to witness such virtuosity up close. But it wasn't just Uli who shone on stage - his bandmates David Klosinski (on Sky Guitar), Niklas Turmann (on guitar and vocals), Jamie Little (on percussion) and Corvin Bahn (on keyboard) were equally exceptional. The lead vocalist's powerful voice filled the venue with emotion and intensity, delivering each lyric with passion and conviction. The tight rhythm section and vocals provided the perfect foundation for Uli's guitar acrobatics and elevated the music to new heights. The setlist was a perfect blend of Uli's new classical pieces and his iconic rock hits. showcasing the band's versatility and musical range. Each song was performed with passion and precision, drawing the audience in and holding them captive until the very last note faded away. The energy in the room was electric, with cheers and applause filling the air after each song. It was clear that Uli and his band had a special connection with their audience, and that connection only grew stronger as the night went on. Uli Jon Roth and his band's performance at The Iridium last Sunday night was nothing short of phenomenal. Their masterful musicianship, powerful vocals, and infectious energy combined to create a truly unforgettable experience. If you ever have the opportunity to see Uli and his band live, don't miss it - it is an experience you will never forget!

3 Years ago! Just before Covid-19 hit... I was so fortune! Uli played all of the old Scorpions material and signed all my vinyls during a meet and greet... It was a lifelong dream come true! Uli is my guitar hero and he's a fantastic person... Totally awesome!

    Ulrich Roth

by TP7643 on 3/20/17B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New York

Show was as good as can be expected. Ulrich Roth was a phenomenon that every one who listens to rock should experience. He, in my opinion, is a living musical treasure. My friend and I had the good fortune to interview Mr. Roth after the show. He was kind and accommodating and relatively humble for a talent of his magnitude. It was as if we flew too close to the electric Sun!. BB Kings as a venue is always acceptable . Service if good, food leaves a little to be desired and is expensive. We had a snow event on that evening, three of us couldn't show up. I am waiting to hear from the manager to see if he will be kind enough to give us tickets for another show, at another date.

Uli amazes during NYC STATE OF EMERGENCY

by Jimmy1B on 3/17/17B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New York

Uli took the stage despite Noreaster 2017 in front of 75% of house and it was worth it for those who bared the elements! Hour and 45 minutes of classic 70s Scorpions hits. Amazing band supporting him.

Excellent show!....Even though the band had visa issues and all of them couldnt make the first show of the tour.....they were amazing with stand in guitarists Andy Timmons and Jennifer Batten. Uli Roth was absolutely amazing along with his Singer John West....who I believe was the best singer I have ever seen Live... Timmons is the man!

by Cellquark on 3/2/16Variety Playhouse - Atlanta

Andy Timmons blends the emotion of Santana with the chops of Satriani. His playing is both awe inspiring and heart-wrenching. Just brilliant. Jennifer Batten had an interesting approach - truly solo with recorded backing instruments and a video screen. Interesting...but not engaging. Uli, technical prowess aside, had his problems - mostly with equipment, but that singer can go right back to 1978 as far as I'm concerned. Maybe Uli needs to move on from doing old Scorpions tunes. Also, WAY too loud for that little venue, with 2 Blackstar full-stacks. Actually left before he finished his set, and I rarely do that.
