    UIL Championship amazing

    by 79014 on 12/21/14AT&T Stadium - Arlington

The polite and able staff were the icing on a wonderful cake. Don't really care for Jerry but his house was amazing. Bottomless popcorn for $10. was a bargain but there were no other bargains on food and drink. Need a bottomless drink. The attention to Handicapped access and use exceeds any I have seen at a stadium before.

Been wanting to go for several years. Glad I finally did with my brother-in-law. Very impressed with the event now having 9 corporate sponsors, several of which have large vested interests in HS football - i.e. Balfour, and TV on Fox Sports. The all-day 3-game set-up was very well coordinated; pretty good food available; great venue to hold the event, in spite of the pathetic weather. $15.00 plus fees for all three games was a great value. Definitely plan on doing again next year. Won't be surprised if in a few years the Saturday events sell out completely.

    High school state games

    by hal1955allen on 12/26/13AT&T Stadium - Arlington

I had a good time watching all 10 games . Saw the whole rang of emotions from start to the joy of winning to heart break of lose . One thing should have been put on ticket that was different from last year was not only no bags but no pin knifes . Had I been told I would have left knife in car . I had to throw it away rather than take that mile walk back .

uil high school state championships were a blast

by fanstic on 12/24/13AT&T Stadium - Arlington

Awesome expierence. We watched every game they had and stayed the whole weekend for it. The only down side was that it was a no reentry game...so we spent about 12 hours there each day. Besides that...we had a blast!

UIL Football State Championships games were great

    by talon2 on 12/24/13AT&T Stadium - Arlington

Upon arriving at the AT&T Stadium and getting through security at the door, the view of the place was assume. After taking in the beautiful view of the stadium we proceeded to the third section which wasn't opened yet. One bad thing was we didn't know which side of the field was seating for which team. Last year there were signs pointing to which side was which team. That was very convenient. Great time was had by all.

Football was great/venue not so much.....

    by Lefty58 on 12/24/13AT&T Stadium - Arlington

The state championship football was excellent however the venue left a lot to be desired. Based there were back to back games at AT&T Stadium the parking was staggered. Rather than usher cars into obviously open parking spaces in the closest lots people were ushered to much more far away lots. The bottom line was that there was no communication between parking lot attendants in regard to open parking spaces but Jerry Jones certainly made sure that someone was at each lot to take money. There was also zero police presence to direct traffic. The UIL has made a special point of emphasizing the work and prestige of having all championship games at one venue however it has failed to focus on the logistics of moving people in and out of multiple games spaced an hour apart.

    Best High School Game Ever

Retired after coaching 32 years and the Allen/Pearland game may have been the best game I have ever seen. First time into Cowboy stadium. Very impressed

    Great high school football

by flyswater on 12/24/13AT&T Stadium - Arlington

This is one of the best events for high schools, students and family members. This allows students to play at an iconic stadium. It allows people who could not otherwise afford to be in AT&T stadium to come and experience it. This venue is perfect for all common folk.

    Great event and great time

    by 22Coach on 12/24/13AT&T Stadium - Arlington

This was a great thing. Price is great and event is wonderful. Anyone that likes sports would love this--the AT&T stadium alone is worth price of admission. Thanks to UIL for putting on a great event and having state championships in common site. What a great thing for H.S. kids and parents and fans to experience.

    UIL Needs To Step Up

    by Bucco36 on 12/24/13AT&T Stadium - Arlington

Parking and waiting to get into the stadium was a total disaster. You need to have personnel out directing traffic to and from the stadium. Make it clear when the stadium opens (parking) and when you can get into the stadium. Since the weather was less than desirable, it made parking much worse than normal. Something also needs to be done about seating arrangements inside the stadium.

    UIL State Championship

by PickANickNameForMe on 12/22/13AT&T Stadium - Arlington

Seating is a disaster at the UIL tournament. The event has gotten way too big for all tickets to be general admission. The UIL needs to copy what they do for the basketball tournament by selling reserved seats for part of the arena and GA for the rest. The dash for seats upon gate opening rivals any of the old "land rush" stories we've heard from the 1800's. I observed several near fights over seats with some people taking objection to someone saving 10 seats and 9 people aren't there yet. The UIL is losing a ton of additional revenue by not selling the 2nd desk between the 20's as reserved. I estimate they could sell at least 5000 reserved seats at triple the current ticket price. That would equate to over a half million in additional revenue less a few minor expenses to administer it. Also, the stadium for some unknown reason won't open the third deck on the final day (even though they know it eventually has to be used) until the first and second levels are so packed that no one can find seats. Makes no sense and inconveniences many people plus waste stadium personnel time monitoring "when" to open it up. Just open all 3 decks when the gates open. Duh!!!

    Great Event

    by 22Coach on 12/28/12Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

What a great Event--got to watch 3 state championships at one of the best venues ever. What a great deal when UIL moved State Championships to One site and also made it a common site and date. Easy to get tickets and got good seats. Great Stuff. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to see Cowboys Stadium and Great HS Football.

    Good Football

    by hal1955allen on 12/27/12Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

High school football is pure love of the game an glory. I know these young men are hoping fore collage scolerships . But when they are playing in the state game it is for home town an glory. Glory is fleeting is still glory. Watching at Cowboy stadium was awsome ! not only did I see great football games but to see the stadium that I have only seen on T.V. was added pleasure . Would not believe just how big it is . I had seat on 50 yard line an watched replays on giant screen . later at home I watched some of game's again on Fox sports an saw it from a differant point of veiw made game even better. Little is ever said about the Bands or Cheerleader's they put on a show also . What would High School football be with out them they add to the drama an pagentry .

Texas UIL State Football Championships were GREAT!

by TXCAR on 12/26/12Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

We had a lot of fun at Cowboy Stadium watching the Texas UIL 3A football championships. The stadium was amazing, but watch out for VERY HIGH prices at the concession stands. The game was exciting and the spectators were involved in the game. There were more people than we expected (filled almost 2/3 of the stadiume), so it was wise to arrive early.

UIL State Football Championship games were awesome

by Golfbaby on 12/24/12Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

This was our first time for this event and it was totally awesome!!! Unbelievable!! Who would think that 3 straight days of Football would be this amazing?? Loved every minute of it. Our seats were good because you could sit anywhere you wanted too, and in Cowboy Stadium that is really neat. Excellent venue, UIL should keep the games at Cowboy Stadium and never ever consider having the championships anywhere else!!

Best 3 games of the year

by Anonymous on 12/24/12Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

What a great set of games to end the season. 6 outstanding teams battling for 3 State Titles. Congrast to both the winners and runner ups for such a great football display. By far, the best three games of the season.
