University of Central Florida Knights Football History
Varsity football didn't come to UCF until 1979, when the Knights joined the NCAA's Division III. By 1996, UCF ascended to the NCAA's top division, becoming the first program to play at all levels of college football. In short order, the Black and Gold became an unlikely national contender. In 2004, under new coach George O'Leary, UCF went 0-11. Over his next 10 seasons in Orlando, the team went to seven bowl games, including a 52-42 Fiesta Bowl victory over Baylor, which capped a 2013 season in which the Knights went 12-1 and undefeated in conference play.
In 2017, under coach Scott Frost, the Knights swept the regular season, won their conference championship game over Memphis in double overtime, and beat No. 7 Auburn in the Peach Bowl, 34-27 — the first undefeated season in school history. The following year, the Knights went 12-1, their only loss coming against LSU in the Fiesta Bowl. That game ended UCF's 25-game winning streak. The Knights have made a bowl game in nearly every season under head coach Gus Malzahn up until his final season in 2024.

Located just northeast of downtown Orlando, Acrisure Bounce House has been the Knights' home since 2007. It quickly earned the nickname "The Bounce House" thanks to vibrations produced whenever fans jumped in unison, and the title was officially added to the stadium’s official name in 2025. Come out a couple hours before kickoff and greet the players during their Knight Walk from IOA Plaza. Ninety minutes before kickoff, you can join the marching band and the spirit team near Knights Plaza for the fan march to the stadium. And when "Kernkraft 400” by Zombie Nation comes on the speakers at the game, be sure to bounce.

Watching the live football was amazing there is no alcohol though, and very little shade in the stadium. It was very uncomfortable which led me to leave in the third quarter.
Fun. Good Pregame tailgate and Pre game concert. Good Football and good crowd. Stadium needs seating instead of benches
Had to move, seats were right under the big screen and the speakers were to load. Lucky for us the game was not a sell out and we found other seats.

I am so happy that the link to buy tickets with discount code for parents weekend did not work for me! i just shopped through ticketmaster and bought from website seat mapping for less than the tickets were offered for family event weekend! Even though UCF did not come up victorious, I was able to have an unobstructed view of very exiting game with my son. It was a little tight for a little while until our section naturally spaced ourselves as people did not show around us. I am actually thinking about buying season tickets because of such a great experience-- even though I am a Gator fan/alum. I liked the section and would watch a UCF football game even without my son right with me!!

Obviously there was nerves around the game. It was great to see coaches interacting with the players again, haven't seen that in 2 years. Energy could have been a bit better, but it was the best turnout I have seen at a Spring game. Overall, I think that the whole day seemed much better planned and coordinated with great offerings. It was fantastic to be able to go on the field after the game and have access to the coaching staff and AD. Overall - very well done.
UCF did a great job this year with turning the Spring Football game into an event that the entire family could enjoy. There is a new energy around there that was very exciting to be a part of. Looking forward to the season!!!

UCF did a great job with this event this year. A MUCH bigger event, more food trucks, top notch entertainment, and best of all.... the field access at the end of the game! That alone made the event worth going to. My toddler LOVED the free little football and running around on the field. I hope this is the new standard for future UCF spring games.

AWESOME EVENT! Well-organized, fun stuff to see & do but watching the "new" UCF Knight's along with a few thousand hyped, excited fans was THE BEST! Go UCF! Go Knights!
We were not expecting this spring game to be much, but when get got to the stadium to tailgate it was awesome. There was motocross, rides and food trucks. We had such a good time.
This was a great event! There was really something for everyone to enjoy. Totally different vibe that past Spring games and other events. Hope we will continue to build on all of the positive energy that coach Frost has brought to the program. Go Knights!

Fantastic fun event for kids and the whole family! Various UCF team members were available to coach and introduce younger kids to UCF sports. A big THANKS to players form the UCF men's and women's Soccer teams! Also big thanks to UCF women's volleyball team for playing with the younger kids! You are an outstanding talented group! Football game was fun and great to get on the field and meet the player after the game. Again, very exciting for the younger kids! Will make them future students and fans of UCF! Excellent bands and other acts such as the motorcycle jumping!
Great stadium set up and surrounding atmosphere for college football. UCF offense needs some work however.
