Great music and the subject matter was interesting. As always a true Tyler Perry product.

I took my wife to see this play after hearing very little about it...( I have never been to a live show production ) .... but my family loved all the others on DVD ....so I said lets see what all the hype is about!!.... IF YOU GO to a Show GO see Tyler Perrys latest Masterpiece .....The singing Phenomenal, the story and message real !!! the feeling when you leave this is Satisfied money well spent and just plain GOOD .........I will now look forward till they come back thru EL Paso with the next show .I spending the word ...Aunt ..BAM stole the show........ the oldies when the brother hit them Luther notes a on let me Hold u Tight and the kid that did Lenny " Cause I love You " way to start the new year in entertainment .......this show will start a fire as it tours the nation tell your Homeys !!.......Baton Rouge Boy in West Texas

I enjoyed this movie so much. It is so good that Madea showed up and showed out on this play. I was laughing so hard it made my head hurt. I am so glad this play was brought to El Paso. The band sounded like a CD it was great. The vocals were on point. I was very pleased.

The characters, plot, and realism were far more than I expected. The old school gospel and R&B brought back a lot of southern memories and traditions.

As always, I enjoyed Tyler Perry and is cast in this play. The singing is off the charts! I enjoy how he incorporates the local environment into his plays. It's makes it personable and funny. Thank you so much Mr. Perry, for bringing your outstanding show to El Paso, TX. We do not get many things like this out here much less be the first to preview such a phenominal play. The play is for the entire family, all will enjoy. Tyler Perry is awesome, truly utilizing his God given talent. He is uplifting the kingdom through his plays. Madea's Big Happy Family allowed all viewers to see some things in their own households or families. A must see play. One of his best!

It was excellent. The message of the play gave food for thought. All of Tyler Perry's plays and movies always have a profound message for life.

I saw Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family and the tour kicked off right here in El Paso, Texas. I am here to tell you Tyler just knows how to entertain a crowd and bring it to it's knees! Even when something is not right he as Madea finds a way to make it funny. We had a curtain get stuck and out of the clear blue sky he pauses the show and tells the other actors "Wait a minute (in his Madea's voice) I got to move that curtain over cause all these people over here paid good money to see this show and I am not going to disappoint them!" So he moved the curtain by hand to a roaring ovation. He can ad lib with the best of them and when to show got serious it brought tears to your eyes then again he brought out laughter when people needed to laugh. If you miss this tour you can only blame yourselves but as for me and my wife it was a total riot and we will go see anything Tyler Perry does over and over and over, because not only does he make us laugh he is a very humble and great man who I can say loves to entertain all of us and goes all out to do that. Thanks for coming to El Paso Tyler and I am going to hold you to what you said........."I will be back cause it only get's better"! Go See this everyone!!!

I am glad Mr Perry gave El Paso a chance to show him love. There are so many places the big star would have gone to (Day) view a new play. Bringing it to El Paso meant a lot to the community as a whole. The stage play was outstanding, and the meaning behind the play was heard by all. Tyler Perry is a work of art and his cast were well trained...they focused on everyone having a good time and getting their moneies worth. I recommend everyone to go see this play, and then buy the DVD when it comes out. you will be thrilled, laugh, cry, and be a ball of emotions. Once again thank you and your cast for coming to our humble city, and giving us something to talk about for a long time to come.

The play last night was the bomb. Both granddaughters that I took with me loved it so much. This was the first play for the youngest. And I want to say this will be one that she will never forget. Good Luck, on the rest of the tour, Tyler.

Would recommend this to everyone as it deals with issues we all face.

The play was awesome. Different from his other plays. Also got a sneak peak at the upcoming "Why Did I Get Married Too"! All of his plays, movies, and sitcoms are a blessing.

It was funny, emotional, touching, everything you can imagine and more than you could have expected!!!! Much props to Mr. Tyler Perry.

This was my first Tyler Perry play and I was very pleased. Madea could run the show all by herself. The new singers are great too! I laughed, I cried and overall I had a really great time.

The play was great! I personally thought it was too much singing during the play. The part where the family was looking back at on the mother's past after the family came home from the funeral was great! The male singers were outstanding! The young kid, the one who sung Lennie WIlliam's song and Luther Vandross' song...awesome! Oh, one more thing, the next you come to El Paso, Pleaaase have it at the Convention Center instead of Don Haskins. The seats at Don Haskins are to close together when people are wearing winter clothing. And the lighting wasn't great. I went to the other play you brought to El Paso last year at the Convention Center. It was great!, comfortable seating which made you feel good dressing nice. Over all, great show. El Paso looks forward to different events, concerts, etc... Looking forward to you next show. Let other entertainers know about El Paso, we are desperately in need of events to attend.

Tyler Perry is a nut and his cast is unbelievably talented! I had the most wonderful time laughing my guts out at this play. I will go again when he comes back! Love you Tyler Perry for keeping it real and funny! You better come back to El Paso. . . CheLinda
